As of May 2019 the new Tee signs have been installed. These should give proper distance, in feet, along with any relevant OB and Mandos (Hole 13). Big thanks to the Parks Dept and the Ella Sharp Park Golf Course for them.

The concrete pavers will be moved soon to the natural short pads to mark their location. We will measure those holes once the blocks are moved and update the map with the Short pad distances.

T Pills   May 14, 2019 at 12:07am

Thanks for drawing them up, coordinating and getting them installed!

As the weather starts to get better, anybody an early morning player during the week like to meet up once or twice a week and play early say 8am? I may not be great, but I won't slow you down too much.

I work 3 12s @ the hospital, so I have a couple of days off during the week. I could probably make it a little after 8.

This course is legit! Very cool lines and great mix of distance/power and control. Only negative would be the pads, seems like they would get very slick in the rain.

Had 21 show up course is very nice!

Bo Fought   July 27, 2018 at 12:25pm

Yes Brad, after 2-3 years of dealing with the city Nate's course finally happened. Brand new concrete pads (4 x 10?) and 18 baskets in the ground. Mowed fairways and the rough isnt very tall, but leftover debris from clearing last year can make walking through rough awkward. Well designed course that is a lot of fun and challenging.

Stephanie Lafferty   July 29, 2018 at 1:22pm

Thanks for the footage! It has been added along with the photos of each tee and basket!

Chad Baird    July 26, 2018 at 5:39pm

Any idea where hole 1 is going to be? Is it by the old volley ball courts or near the pick nick tables?

Bo Fought   July 26, 2018 at 6:29pm

Whipped up a quick map off memory from test runs last year. White #s are tees and red circles are baskets. Should get you around the course.

I thought I've seen some tea pads poured but the grass was very high the last time I was there. Any idea why this hasn't been completed? Has it been a lack of funds or other issues? Are there any of the local clubs looking for help to put an event in place to make things happen? If so send me an update lets make this place happen it seems to have so much potential.

T Pills   June 22, 2018 at 5:50pm

And yes, some of the tee pads are already in.

T Pills   June 22, 2018 at 5:52pm

Feel free to call the city and encourage them to get it done. They have the funds, they have support from local players (also, thanks for your support). Their excuse to me was that they are a municipality and things take time. I thought that was a lame excuse. Flood them with calls I say. Get them off their butts!

Late summer early fall is the response from the city.

Steven Mckee    May 25, 2018 at 1:26am

Hopefully late summer it will be open.
