One of my favs, lots of elevation, nice surroundings and three tees per hole! the blues are super long and not all concrete, yet. The whites offer a good challenge and are my favorite. The reds have a lot of ace runs and offer you that birdie fix. How low can you go!

Wow, what a monster! Played from the long (blue) tees. They are loooong. A lot of good elevation changes. The only minor complaints keeping me from giving this an A+ is the lack of concrete tee pads on some of the blue tees and the lack of benches. Otherwise, one of my favorites. Worth the drive.

Warm up your arm and eat a healthy snack before teeing off because this course is a monster. Great park environment and the course winds you throughout all sorts of areas. Lots of long holes along with some more technical wooded areas and three sets of concrete tees provide for a multitude of enjoyment. A good hike with plenty of undulation keeps a good sweat going the entire time. Awesome course and worth a 30 minute drive down I-77 from time to time.

the only thing missing on this DGC IMHO is a few trees on a few holes and more tournaments, Tee pads might be the best in the State. Red and white tees are fair and very challenging for the advanced player. I love this DGC and i'm very proud to have helped in the design with Bill Griffith and Greg Marsh. keep up the GREAT work Tusc. One of my favorites. Lots of elevation changes. A nice mix of open and fairly-wooded shots. The top of the world tee is lots of fun to play. Cool off afterwards at the pool in the park. Definitely worth a trip.

Some of the longest holes i've seen. Tremendous elevation changes, mildy wooded in a couple holes. Grip and rip for the most part. It is a hike !

I rate this course 5 out of 5 stars.
Pros
- Plenty of parking and pavilions for large groups
- The map is put together very well and in great detail
- 3 tees per hole
- Almost every tee is concrete and well maintained
- Signs on the tees are simply amazing! Whoever created these put some serious effort into making this a premium course.
- The Basket are well labeled and in great shape
- The flow is fantastic considering that this is a 10K foot course with hole #18 ending at hole #1. Y ...

Love playing this course and the shorts make for a fun day of ace running. This course is a gem for players of all levels, a must play for all players. Downed tree on 11 makes that hole a little tougher then usual.

Awesome mix of holes, finished with shin splits. Do not attempt to finish with a weak bladder!

the best course ive ever played. dover is a big course with lots of hills and elevation. it has three tees on every hole and most tees are concrete. make sure you warm up because its very long. most holes are open but a few wooded holes are in the front nine. a couple holes are classic. hole 14 is the top of the world hole. even if your playing short tees make sure to play hole 14 long

OK, after reading about this course I had to make the franklin-Tuscarawas drive. it did not disappoint. first hole, 870 something! wow! playing in Columbus our longest hole from reg tees is griggs 18th at 540'. Every hole here is that long. play blue tee regardless on 14........AMAZING!!!

Without a doubt, my favorite course, and the best kept course I have ever played. I live 10 minutes from this course, and have played it a lot. I pretty much learned to play here, which is great since its a fairly difficult course. You open with hole one, which regardless of which Tees you play, is a challenge to par.
The blue tees, are insane at this course, longest holes I have ever seen. I play reds now as I have only played for a year or so now, and finally scored +1 after a year of play ...

well maintained would like to see more trees and some alternate pin placements but all in all a great course nice concrete tee pads. Definatley a hike all around up and down this course. Park has mowed the leaves on most all fairways and around all baskets looks good.

Amazing couse want to play it again when its not wet from some pretty knarly storms

Awesome course that could be a bit better if it flowed easier between some of the holes which requres a more walking than neccessary. Would like to see concrete tees on all of the Blues.

Awesome course. Great use of the land that gives to a great mix of holes with some impressive elevation changes. There's not much keeping this from an A+ course...maybe just a full set of concrete tees for all layouts, as I noticed a few did not have them. The course had a good flow, and the hole signage is some of the best I've seen and shows the trees and OBs very well. Definitely a destination course IMO, and one of the better ones in the NEO.

Pros -
3 sets of tees
Nice baskets
Mostly cement tees
Clearly marked
Nice flow
Nice mix of shots
Well kept
Cons -
Could use all cement tees
Some of the prickers and brush could be cleared around some holes (hole #1 on the far left)
This course is going to test your ability and your gonna feel it for a day or two afterwards. Definitely worth the drive from Cleveland.

Wow! What a beast. This course is long, long, and a little longer. I'm in decent shape and this course kicks my a**! Plenty of epic type holes. Tons of elevation changes and when its windy it gets even harder. The whole thing is VERY well maintained. Immaculate fairways. You will use every disc in your bag and still have a shot or two where you could of brought another certain disc for the situation. I can't say enough good things about it. Eat your Wheeties before you play it.

Long, but a very nice course and park. Make sure you play 14 blue tee, top of the world, great hole.
+1 votes Gary Heflin › August 13, 2012
Very long, and I do mean very long drives from the tees. A lot of walking at this course, that is for sure. Plus side though, there is no water holes here. Today we had some wind that affected the game, but the course is very nicely layed out and kept up nicely as well.

This is a great course that caters to many skill levels! Honestly one of the most stand-out feature: the amazing signage! There's no way to get lost on this course. I just played it for my first time and I didn't need a map or a guide, and I didn't skip or miss any holes. Loved it! I'll be back for sure

This is a monster! First course I have ever played on, it is rather big! A mix of all environments, Hills, Woods, and Open Areas. I love this course.
+1 votes Frank Leppar › November 5, 2013
Warning: If you play this course, you may not want to leave. This is a fantastic course offering a great time for all players. Everything from very lengthy holes to shorter and very technical narrow holes. A few holes you really have to unleash a 300+ drive in hopes to get a par (from the back tees). The whites are a challenge to any player, the blues... well... good luck with that.

Great course and well worth the drive from Canton! Love the wooded holes and overall layout. Seventeen is a masterpiece in design, pull out your straighhhhhhhhhhhhhhht flyer on this one!.

This should be thee tournament course in ohio. The pros would probably love it out here too. Probably the most grueling course I've played to date. This bad boy is big. Three holes over 600 ft. That's awesome. Some technical shots, but for the most part let em rip and you need an arm to play here. Love playing here.

Would of gave an A+ but I lost too many discs here haha. Great flow and directions at the tee pads. Chose to throw from the blues which I probably wasn't ready for but surprised myself on a few of the holes. Wish I lived closer to play here more. Great course !
+1 votes Brandon Hart › June 7, 2014
Good signage! All the white tee pads had concrete pads except 1. Blue tees did not always have pads.
+1 votes Zach Gay › October 5, 2016
Awesome championship caliber course. One of Ohios finest. Shot placement is key from white and blue tee pads while red offers a more traditional course experience with shorter and more manageable shots. Mostly open but a good mix of tight lines and woods throughout the course.

Truly one of the best courses in the U.S. Three sets of pads, beautiful use of elevation, multiple challenges. Don't miss this one.
+0 votes Nathan Williams › September 29, 2018
such a great course long open, but still requires a technical precise game while still allowing you to launch discs
+0 votes Robin WW › September 6, 2015
BIG !!!!! Mostly open. Lots of challenge and elevation change.
+0 votes Ken Sampson › March 15, 2019
Very well-maintained course. Some really interesting shots. The course has too many wide-open fairways for my taste.

Deis Hill is def. one of my favorite courses in Ohio! I would recommend it to anyone looking to test their entire game.
+0 votes Michael Konopka › June 28, 2019
For the most part, this course is just long with wide landing zones. I get how this can be appealing for some players who like to bomb it, but for a number of holes it's just a long open throw uphill or downhill. I rather have some technical throw that require more touch. To be fair there are some of those, but also stretches of 4 consecutive holes that are just the same shot.
+0 votes Logan Gibson › April 3, 2017
Very diverse course. If playing the whites or the blue tees you better be able to throw 300+. A lot of lengthy holes shooting up hill. Great Course. Highly Recommend.
+0 votes Abe kromer › July 23, 2016
The course is quite challenging there is a lot of elevation you need to be in shape and don't plan on a 95-degree day
+0 votes Chad W › August 20, 2016
Not sure about #2 in Ohio but it is an awesome course! Hilights - the 2 par 5's (wow distance!) and especially and Hole 17 - thru 2 parallel rows of trees - awesome. My 16 year old son dropped his perfect throw at the base of the basket - awesome - The cost of failure is high!
+0 votes Matt Campbell › January 20, 2021
Great mix of elevation, distance shots, and some tight fairways here/there.

What an amazing layout. You know your on a serious course when first hole is 800+ feet. Tough challenge with a little bit of everything. Definitely a rigorous walk, but worth every step.
+0 votes Brandon Kleinhenz › May 2, 2020
Decent, LONG course but definitely not a top 5 course in Ohio for me. A lot of better courses than this in my opinion.

Nice course but I’m really surprised it ranks THIS highly in Ohio.
The front 9 has some cool holes: Pretty views of the park. Nice mix of open and tight lanes.
The back 9 is relatively forgettable, with the exception of the tunnel shot on 17.
Multiple tee pads are nice. Small pads, but it’s cool to have the options. A lot of commenters rave about how this course is big. I feel like a B- is accurate for the course but I gave it a C+ to try and counteract all these A’s and A ...

BRUTAL! Long! Hilly! You will be worn out after this round. Too much walking b/t tees on the back 9. Didn’t like the set up especially in retrospect of the tee placements for the area provided. Not much finesse needed on the back. A lot of long rip shots on the back. A few birdie runs at the beginning of the front right after the long #1 hole.
Only double while playing #14 as is recommended by others to throw from the long tee “Top of the World”.
On the signature hole #17 it is advised t ...

This is a fun course with a little bit of everything. Some technical shots through some trees and some wide open bomber shots
+0 votes Lee Campbell Jr › January 26, 2021
Great Course, Easy to follow layout with Advanced Tees Available. There are a few holes that the Basket and the Next Tee are A good distance away from each other slowing the pace of play. All in all it's a great course.

This course has something for everyone. Long drives, shaped shots, narrow corridors, up hill, down hill, woods, and open drives to cut loose.
Its 3 miles of hills that make for a great workout as well. Great course!

This course is really nice and challenging. There are lot of side hill and uphill shots. If you don't like exercise and walking you will not like this course. It does require alot of walking and uphill walks which I did not mind. It is not mapped on Udisc, but it has pretty good signage. The pads are nice. The basket locations are pretty good, they now have 2 baskets per hole which makes for a nice course. I like the course and will be back to take it on again.

Beautiful course with lots of elevation. Three tee pads and two baskets most every hole. Blues are super long with whites being shorter and reds the shortest. I played reds and it was plenty challenging for me. Not hard to make shots but most of the time your throwing uphill or your on the side of a hill. I’m definitely coming back in the summer or fall I imagine this course is gorgeous! Huge park, well maintained and very clean. I wish it wasn’t 3hrs away from me.
