Matthew Hull 52 - Regular tees, 18 holes "I considered playing at a few courses on our trip home this morning/afternoon and the winner was Deer Meadow Park. I absolutely LOVE the peaceful atmosphere here and Sandy and Ryan had never been here before and they really enjoyed it. :) I really like the way I threw too. Holes that are 300-350 ft. are TOUGH for me to deuce and my drives really gave me a chance today. It was a bit muddy and plenty wet on the course but the weather today was PERFECT (70-75 degrees with a light breeze). I threw my Trespass, Champion Destroyer, and Champion Katana a lot and I had success with all of them! My Trespass hit a really sweet line on the wooded Hole #4 (went straight with a timely fade) and I made a 20-25 ft. Roach putt on #14 after a decent Champion Valkyrie drive. My putting was (knocking on LOTS of wood) actually very good and consistent this afternoon which made both rounds very enjoyable. I know I lost a few strokes going for it but I absolutely LOVE some of the Ace runs here. Hole #10 is an open 245 ft. drive that just says "Give it your best shot!" while Holes #14 and 15 are reasonably short but require some careful navigation as trees block the obvious lines."-4
Matthew Hull 50 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Other than playing a bit better on the back nine (particularly on Holes #14 and 15 which should be easy birdies), I had a wonderful second round! My Champion Destroyer hit a smooth, straight line on #2, I lucked out with my Star Roadrunner on #5 (nicked a tree, was way too low, yet slid to within 10-15 ft. of the basket), and my drives on #8 and 9 were super smooth as well (threw the Trespass and Champion Destroyer). Overall, it was another solid round! I definitely hope to play at this wonderful park again real soon!"Thursday, September 20, 2018

Matthew Hull 49 - Regular tees, 18 holes "I had been itching to get out and play @ Deer Meadow again for quite some time and today, Jon and I finally made it happen! We had a wonderful time and both played really well to boot! He finished with an insane score (45) while I managed to get a 49 (980 rated round btw!) My Sword really came through for me on #1 (a fun obstacle free 300 ft. hole) and helped to vindicate itself for the one bad throw @ Harbin yesterday on #18 which was the start I needed. I did miss the mark a bit on a few upshots and my putting was sketchy early on but thankfully I worked out the kinks and finished really well. My Champion Destroyer really came through for me on #7 and 8 while my Captain hit a tremendous line on #9 (you need a long, smooth S-curve throw here or a superb forehand). I made a solid 25-30 ft. putt on #10 as well to complete a really nice four hole stretch. My throw of the day came on #16 though. After a decent Captain drive, I tried to have the best jump putt I could have and I nailed the 80 ft. putt!!! What's really awesome about this is my buddy Jon had just made a sensational sidearm Megasoft Shield putt that had to be seen to be believed. We basically wrecked the basket on #16 on back-to-back throws which was way cool! It even started to rain on #17 and that didn't stop us from playing very well there (my Captain hit the perfect line and essentially gave me an easy 3). It was a really special time and my best round at Deer Meadow by a whopping four strokes! Then again, I have only played there twice but still...it was a good round! ;)"Friday, July 6, 2018

Matthew Hull 53 - Regular tees, 18 holes "This is just what the doctor ordered! After having a great time @ Belmont Park, I decided to give this fairly new course a try. It was so much fun and so peaceful too. I love the atmosphere here and the fact that it had just rained (we had some major thunderstorms come through during the afternoon...I chilled in one of the shelters as it passed over) made the air feel SO good! I even met a couple of cool guys playing disc golf for only their second time so it was fun playing through with them. My drives felt really good (threw a heavy dose of the Captain, my new Champion Destroyer, and my new Streamline Drift sprinkled in) and my putting was much better. I am slowly figuring out how to throw the Maiden and I am really liking it! My Champion Destroyer drive on #3 and 30 ft. Maiden putt gave me a sweet birdie while my Captain drive on #10 was excellent! Everything just felt real smooth and I walked away very pleased with my round. I will definitely play here again!"Wednesday, May 23, 2018
