Come out and tame the beast at Portage Lakes DG every Thursday @6:00pm...

All the left over discs from last year's Chain Shot are gone. CTP's will now be cash payout. CTP cash is donated money and the only thing you need to do is be in the $1 ace fund and you are automatically in the 2 CTP's. CTP's are hole 1 and 8 at $10 each. Ace fund is now at $158+. Been getting good turnouts.

Registration will soon be closing for the Warren 2016 MVP Circuit (9/25/16). Players pack includes 3 discs and additional swag from MVP Disc Sports for $30 entry. There will be 2 rounds of singles play as well as mini games for additional prizes. Will have men's, women's, and juniors divisions. More players will mean bigger prize pools. With enough registered players the grand prize will include an MVP Black Hole Pro basket. Additional MVP apparel will be available to purchase during registration. Registration closes next Sunday (10/4/15) for the Legacy Discs Battle of the Aces at Sims Park on 10/18/15!! Don't miss out if you want to play in this event!! This event is pre-registration only, and you must prepay to guarantee your spot!! You can register here or give me cash if that works better for you. Entry is $30 for the 3 discs and some other swag, and the fun is included at no extra charge!! Registration for the Legacy Discs Battle of the Aces at Sims Park is open through October 4th!! This event is preregisration only, so don't miss out!! Please note this event has been changed to 10/18/15, as to not conflict with The Hall of Chains Tourney. The $30 player pack includes 2 unreleased drivers, a putter, and some other swag with a $75 retail value!! A shortened course will be played with holes ranging between 100-250 feet, and the winner gets a loaded bag with 9 discs and some other goodies!! Don't miss out on this event, as it will be a blast! Planning for charity events for two of our local disc golfers are under way. I am looking for sponsors to help with donations for prizes and raffle items to help raise some funds to help some of our own out. If you have any ideas or contacts that you think could help, please let me know. The first event will be September 13th to help raise money for Mike Broda. Another event will follow around the end of the month or early October for Bill Savage and his wife. This includes everything and anything, and any help will be greatly appreciated. Both events will have 100% of proceeds going right to each individual, and this will include entry fees and any other monies raised during the events, with things like raffles, 50/50, and anything else we come up with. Please keep an eye out here and on facebook for more info and spread the word to help support those who really need it.

I am contacting any disc golf company I can think of. So far MVP has committed to send something. I'm also going to reach out to some sellers and goods manufacturers like Keen and Grip. We could use help with local business donations for each if you have any ideas on your part of town. I'm working with some east side locals to do just this. Disc golf retailers, restaurants, whatever. I have a typed letter if anybody needs it to help show this is legit. Just let me know and I can email it to whoever needs it.
