Course Layout - Rating C : Some baskets and Tee pads are way to close! I]believe that barriers of some kind need to be put in place to prevent injuries on the course.
The walk from Hole 18 to the parking lot is rather long and steep which is not bad when your round is over, but course fluidity is important too me.
From hole 15 basket to 16 tee is a bit annoying because you walk the entire length of hole 16 to get to its tee; not a very fluid design. I believe there is potential for a great hole (optional hole) between 15 and 16 that would fix the fluidity problem and really add a great hole that brings the lake into play.
Safety - Rating B : The course itself rarely crosses paths with pedestrians in the park. A couple possible crossings of a walking trail but not enough to raise a red flag from me.
Tees - Rating F+ : stone pavers for a few early teepads but most tees were just a piece of wood in the ground. some are very small and on a slope.
Baskets - Rating B- :nice new Mach X baskets; those are great (even though I got a spit out on a park job; high hard putt which these baskets do not catch well). In my humble opinion the baskets are set too low in the ground (height varies).
Hole Design - Rating B+ : Some of the holes are very tricky, almost with no typical line to the basket. I do think that most of the holes are great or have great potential; they just need a bit of extra thought.
For example: Hole 3 from the white tee would have a straight shot but there are very thin, small trees blocking that route. That makes this hole a hyzer hole with a choking fairway as you get closer to the basket. This is not necessarily a terrible thing. I am ok with holes that are Par 3's and you sometimes just have to play for a simple 3; if you get a two you were either really lucky, or hit the exactly line to the basket.
