One of my top five in Colorado, no doubt. When they get the tee pads installed, it may just take over the top spot!

One of the most unique and beautiful properties I’ve ever played on. It lives up to its name, as there is a creek system traversing the course, that doesn’t so much come into play on the course as it does add a serene element to your round that will have you stopping and taking it all in more than once during your stay.

Absolutely worth the short trip (gorgeous drive) south of I-70. Please do yourself a favor and pay this course a visit, you won’t regret it.

This Beautiful Course is a site to behold!! Mountain Discgolf at its Finest! The Crew has done an Amazing job w/the Design, Flow, & Upkeep!! You can tell these guys LOVE Discgolf!!! This course is definitely contending for the #1 spot in Colorado!! A bucket list must play!! Next time I'm definitely camping so as to play more :) Can't wait to be back!

Pros: Cross Creek is a truly unique mountain course. Even though it is extremely secluded in a beautiful high alpine setting, it shares many elements you might expect to find in a traditional city park course.

Extensive manicuring and reshaping of the land has created a one-of-a-kind aesthetic that sets it apart from other Rocky Mountain courses.

The diverse layout will challenge any player and features everything from tight, tree-lined fairways, wide open bombers, huge elevation changes and water carries. It is always a battle to score well, regardless of skill level, with the course's obstacles rewarding great shots and punishing less than ideal ones.

Cross Creek is in its fourth year now and, because its reputation has continued to grow, the owners are committing more and more resources to improving and expanding it.

There is now a massive, 20+ person volunteer team in place that are responsible for continued maintenance of the course including regular mowing, removal of deadfall and debris, upkeep of tees and paths and helping with the addition of more amenities.

These amenities include multiple pin positions, vastly improved tee pads (including the use of Discmania/DiscGolfPark turf tee pads) and the addition of more holes on the property with the goal of at least 27 total in the not so distant future.

They are also in the process of adding comprehensive tee signs to each hole as well as a course map at the kiosk for easier navigation.

The owners are also some of the kindest people on the planet and, for having zero knowledge of disc golf prior to agreeing to a course on their ranch, have now adopted it as a major part of their lives.

It really is inspiring to see this place grow from a pipe dream to truly being one of the finest destination courses in Colorado. If you have the opportunity to visit, make sure you can spend at least a full day here and play multiple rounds.

Cons: The dirt tee pads are sometimes rocky and uneven. Large scale improvements are in the pipeline

Signage is very basic at the moment but is also going to be improved upon soon

Some of the holes are a little close together which doesn't affect play much during casual rounds but can occasionally during tournament play

There is no cell service at Cross Creek. Not necessarily a con but something to be aware of if you visit

It is very secluded, at least 20 to 25 minutes from the nearest services. Again, not a con per-se but take note if you need to bring food, water or anything else you might require while on course

I have been playing disc golf for 20 years and this is my favorite course ever! Let’s start with the Scott family (owners), they are some of the nicest and friendliest people around! Now to the property, this property is a 10/10. It is perfect for disc golf and I mean perfect. The 18 hole course is at elevation up the valley on the side of a mountain. The walking can be rigorous, plan on hiking and wear proper shoes. Pants are not required but long socks are useful. The course has some great views and is a great lay out. Some long holes some short, some tight technical throws some open. Many holes have multiple baskets, some are obvious, some are hidden and are worth finding! #8 is my favorite hole in Colorado using 2 creeks and a small pond , absolute perfection. The course does have creeks and a pond, however discs are easy to find and get. You won’t loose discs here often....... unless it’s 60 ft up a tree. Not for beginner beginners in my opinion. Although a beginner might enjoy the hike and throwing on property some of the longer par 3’s are long and require a 300 ft drive plus a 200ft lay up to get to green. My point is if you don’t care about score and just want to enjoy an A+ course this is still a place for you. If you have never played before this course will be a challenge. Dave’s 9 is still a work in progress but has baskets up and is in the field of dreams, open shots and shorter, great for just making up tees and shooting to any pin you like! Each time I go here I find new baskets, new places to explore, wildlife, and always feel so lucky to have the chance to play. The drive is well worth it, in fact it is so beautiful it adds to the experience.Cost is $15 per person Per day for all you can play.

This is what mountain disc golf is all about. This course will make you throw every shot in your bag, and is surrounded by beautiful mountain landscapes on all sides. A great mix of length, technical shots, and elevation makes this course a great challenge. Although this course is just in its infancy, it is easily one of the best courses in the state of Colorado.

Great NEW course- there's obviously some room for improvement (better tee-boxes, some more signage, maybe some flags to help with some of the blind shots), but overall- I loved this course. I appreciated the beautiful layout with challenging/technical holes, and I thought that overall, this is a course that I will LOVE to play again!! Each hole is unique with it's own challenges (obstacles, OB, distance, tight lines). There's a lot of hiking, but that comes along with being a mountain course- so no complaints here.... just make sure you are properly equipped with good shoes, and weather gear.

Cross Creek is an awesome course. It is brand new, which comes with a few inevitable downsides, but it will mature greatly as a courae over time. There are several holes that have a lot of room for impovement and the teepads are low quality. Having said that, it is on a beautiful piece of property, there are a lot of tight shots, a lot of fun angles you are not used to throwing in CO, great variety, veteran baskets, and the owners of this place are incredible people!
