C- Gordy Houser Sep 2019 It'd be great if it was kept up... it's sad when you lose your disc because grass needs to be mowed... Would be a great course if it was mowed and had a little upkeep done on it...
C- Craig Compton Feb 2019
Ehh. Good course for beginners or kids when college students aren’t around. The last few times we have been there, there has been some real shady guys hanging around the course, and beer cans everyw ... show more ›
C+ Stu Kruske May 2018
Very straightforward and beginner friendly. Playing off the par on the signs makes you feel great about yourself. However, you really should play all of these holes as a par 3. They have been improvin ... show more ›
C- Andy Bryans Nov 2017 Not maintained well at all. All the tee pads need work, making them cement would be great. Would be difficult to navigate from hole 3 to hole 4 if you're a first time player (over the tracks for 4-10, then back over for 11-18). Pretty beginner friendly.
B David Fisher Oct 2017 Nice Course, very open and allows for good practice rounds for new players
C- Shane Miller Dec 2017 Some repetitive open holes at the end, but not bad considering the amount of land to use for it. Great work by CMU, but no offense but there are many better courses out there in Michigan, just have to travel a bit.
C Kevin Smith Jun 2016
This course has extreme sentimental value for me, but the reality is the pads are trash and it has been poorly maintained for years. Flat and open, this is a good beginner course (particularly when no ... show more ›
C- Spencer Gee Aug 2015 tees are absolutely terrible and too short.
B Ryan Klootwyk Jul 2015 Teepads are below average. Very wide open. Fun to play if you want to bomb some drives. Nice ace runs/birdie holes
B- Tyler J Langley Jul 2015
This is an okay course for a beginner. An experienced player can easily par/birdie most. If you are experienced, and play on this course, you will definitely want to use pro par. They cut some of the ... show more ›

Great course on which to learn. Maintenance often lacks but the fairways and brush are in pretty good shape right now as long as you spot your disc off the fairway. Mostly open course with a few holes ... show more ›
C Cameron Otto Jun 2015 Trash Management is terrible.
C Ryan Hart Apr 2015
I thought for only playing for a year and counting, it was a nice little course. I stayed at the Comfort Inn and the course was right behind the hotel. I found it a nice course to take my two boys who ... show more ›
C Steve De Long Aug 2014 WIDE OPEN. shitty mowing job
F- Kevin Zimmerman Jan 2023 Uneven and short rubber pads makes me hesitate in my x step and I am concern on twisting an ankle. This and the fact that CMU has stop maintaining the course well makes this course horrible.
B Steve K Sep 2013 1st course I ever played at. Good memories!
A- Adam Cook Aug 2013 This is a very fun course, with a lot of wide open holes. It also has its fair share of technical ones as well, but nothing to challenging. If the grass is mowed, I would recommend it to anyone.
C+ Samantha Gilbert Jul 2013 Really enjoyed the course besides the last 3 holes that were COMPLETELY over grown! Took over an hour to find a disc on two holes.
B- Dart Overfield Jul 2013 Grass is HORRIBLE!!!! needs a severe cutting in a BAD way!!!!
C+ Erik Godbey Jun 2014 CMU is mowing this year, but only a mower wide swath, make sure to spot where your disc lands if its headed for the rough.
C Brock Howell May 2013 Open and flat, not much to it! The only challenge was finding my disc in the middle of the fairway because of the 2 foot tall grass
B- Jeremiah Clennan May 2013 Its where I got into the sport so I have an automatic soft spot for it. But honestly the past few years it has gone downhill. Almost always unkept and pads are slowly breaking down. Great beginner course or if you need a confidence boost after a bad day at Deerfield.
B+ Kaleb Hermes May 2013 Pretty plain course. It's 18 holes and is pretty flat. Most of the holes are short as well. Fun for a casual round of play!
B Daniel Treharne Mar 2013 Very Short Course, It was a great course to learn how to play on. Havent played it in awhile. But, you can get in and get out in 40 mins. Great course for those who do not have all the time to play.
B+ Jake Angelos Sep 2012 This is really a C course but I give it a B+ because this is one of my home courses and where I really got into disc golf.
C Neil Hildebrant Sep 2012 Course could really use some maintenance but they lack the funds from what I'm told. If it were Maintained, this course would be an exceptionally nice place to hold tournaments for professionals.
C- Dan R. Dedloff Aug 2012 It's a fine enough course for an in-town experience but the trash and disrepair gets a little annoying at times.
C+ Moe Dixon Aug 2012 I love the beginning of this course, fuck the last six holes though. Also on a windy day you can get pretty aggravated.
C- Ed Carpus Jul 2012
The perfect course for what/where it is. A great place to learn to play disc golf with enough distance to allow someone better then you to come out and teach you and not be bored. When I was in town i ... show more ›
C- Kyle Greiner Jun 2012 It's a decent course to take someone on if they have never disc golfed before, but not much else can be said about it.
C- Josh Seaver May 2012 Lots of short ace run holes. Pretty well taken care of few tee signs dont make since and they need to have some signs from a few holes to other holes!
C- Steve Swart Apr 2012 This course was good in the early days, but it is no longer mowed and being in a drainage area, much of it is a swamp.
D+ Josh Pickard Jan 2023 Easy. Wide open. Unimaginative. Poorly groomed. When properly groomed it would make for a nice training wheels course. Otherwise go to Deerfield Park and play a real course.
A- DJ Metzer Nov 2011 Soft spot in my heart because its where I first started playing
D+ Jeremy French Jan 2023 CMU should be embarrassed by how they let this course go.
B- Lawrence P Aug 2012 Good course for the area. This is a great place for the budding disc golfer to practice skillz. Not real easy to loose a disc plus there's a few water holes to practice your confidence when throwing next to water. The wind can make it a real challenge.
C+ Angel Gilbert Aug 2023
Rubber tee pads were not the greatest some of them were torn to pieces. Did not know there were so many holes that play along ponds. Not very well marked locals had to tell us to go over the railroad ... show more ›
D Derek Clements Aug 2011 way too open for my taste. also CMU needs to take better care of it. there is a small path, one lawn mower width, on each fairway, tee pads are definitely the worst I've ever seen, standing on the tee pad for hole 5 I briefly thought I was in 'Nam.
C- Glen Zimmerman Jan 2023

C+ Josh Barnett Feb 2014 tees are terrible. not large enough to do a proper x-step. mow the place please. you shouldnt throw a perfect drive in the fairway and still have to search for your disc. i set my bag down and nearly lost it, it was so bad. windy, windy, windy.
C Jimmy Alexander Oct 2010
