All-Terrain Disc Golf at Carolina Adventure World offers players an opportunity to challenge themselves on a tough, but enjoyable and beautiful layout. There are two tees on each hole with the short tee layout about 2,000 feet shorter than the longs. The course is also laid out so that players with a shorter time schedule can play a 9 hole loop instead of the full 18. The 9 hole loop plays holes 1-4 and then jumps and finishes playing 14-18.
The course has a variety of shots with elevation coming into play on many of them. The woods the course plays through are mostly pines with a good amount of hardwoods mixed in with very little under brush. So, when you get off the fairway, you may not have a good look at getting to the basket, but you're not searching for your disc. The course plays a little shorter than its actual distance as several of the long holes throw downhill. The panoramic views from hole 15's green is a great reward for getting through the main climb of the course. Hole 18 is an instant classic with a huge elevation drop as you play back to the beautiful green next to the welcome center.
