Hello all, I have two events happening this coming Sunday; May 11th, 2025. First, we will be having celebration of life for Steve Moore, an avid disc golfer and dedicated former board member of Camp Taloali- we will put plaque in at Camp Taloali's disc golf from 1pm-2pm. His family and friends will be there and you are welcome to attend. Second, We honor his birthday, May 11th by fulfilling his wish that everyone enjoy a free day of disc golf at Camp Taloali! So come out and snag an ace on hole 9 :)

Hello Disc Golf Folks, thank you for your patience, the disc golf course now is open! Letting you know some areas, the grounds are not leveled yet, we are working on that. There are many piles and many branches are down from timber project, so its not cart friendly as of now and be careful walking around. We will work on cleaning up and restore the trails across disc golf course making it safer for all users and campers.

Hello Disc Golf Folks,

Starting today Monday June 17th of 2024, the disc golf course will be closed to cutting down dead trees around the disc golf course, they will clean up and restore the trails across disc golf course making it safer for all users and campers. We will put up signs to inform people that we will be closing the disc golf course temporarily and it should be closed for around 1 to 2 weeks. When the disc golf is open and ready to use again, I will announce the opening date on the disc golf scene website and facebook. We apologize for the inconvenience and stay tuned for the opening date!

First of all we want to say thank you all for coming out playing on our beautiful disc golf course at Camp Taloali and appreciate your payment/donations, it definitely helps the maintenances on disc golf course and this upcoming summer camp! Few things I want to announce; when people put lost discs on the board, I take them and I have them in my possession, please call 503-400-6547 to claim your lost discs.

This Sunday will be the series opener. Please have your buy-in ready and remember there is a fee to play Taloali.
I hope to see a good turnout this year as changes to this series are from league patrons suggestions and popular demand.
Buy-in to the points series is not required to play in this weeks D.O.R.C.s league round but the course fee is required. I will be confirming everyone has paid. Taloali is in great shape right now and we are excited at the opportunity to play there this weekend.

Camp Taloali Update
I am happy to announce that for those of you that have not come out yet that the course will be open the next 5 weekends for play. Sunday June 18th will be last day open for play till after the normal summer break. At this time donations will be gladly accepted and be used for the fuel and equipment being used on the course to get it back in shape. When reopened this fall it will be a pay to play course and a reopening event is in the planning for September, more details to follow on that. The gate will be open by 9 am on the next 5 weekends so hope this gives more people a chance to come out and visit and see what is going on. Thank you to those that have been helping out so far and hope to see lots of players before summer closure

I am proud to announce that David Jackson has been approved and accepted for the property manager position for Camp Taloali. This is a big step towards the future of the camp and disc golf course. It will still be a couple weeks or so before the move happens, still some work to do on house to finish it yet for them. Any assistance with house or course is welcome and appreciated, I can be reached to make arrangements as people's time allows. Welcome to you and family and looking forward to working with them. Let's keep it all positive and moving forward.
