I regularly play at Central Park in Schenectady and I had heard that Blatnick Park was not very well maintained but decided to give it a try. Not well maintained is an understatement. Not one area of the course is not overgrown. There is no fairway or even an area maintained around the basket. A straight fairway shot is very hard to find because of the overgrowth. I deem this course unplayable. If you try it you were warned. BTW, I did end up losing a disk despite my best efforts. Extremely UN-e ...

Extremely UN-enjoyable! Not what I expect from Niskayuna.....With the taxes we pay can you please maintain the course or remove it!

A lot of wide open shots but placement is key for most of them. Nice tees, hole1 tough to find (behind shed in driving range parking lot), hilly -seems to be room for expansion (2nd park entrance when coming from balltown).

Course is okay. Good layout despite all the open field space. Nine more baskets would really help this relatively short course.

Only worth attempting from December to April. It's a really interesting layout, but lack of maintenance and constant mud or snow when it is playable don't make it a course for a relaxing round with friends.

if it could be worse it would - tee pads are nothing but mud. frames are busted, signs for tee pads are knocked down and scattered. Why not because of DisCap but the damn town doesn't do a damn thing to help what so ever. The club should abandon this course and offer a fair price to the town for the baskets and move along. It's only playable maybe 4 months out of the year and when it is it's snow covered and muddy

Summer is winding down now. I did like this course a lot when it was setup. There is no upkeep here in at least three months. Nobody has come through to mow the underbrush (grass?). So it is downright dangerous to walk through. There are groundhog den holes and other obstacles that you cannot see through the deep grass. I was worried that I would make a misstep and wrench my ankle or step on an unseen snake. The grass was at least a foot tall everywhere. And the stickers and weeds are now growin ...

And the stickers and weeds are now growing into the baskets themselves. I also consider this course to be unplayable now. Might be a good idea to remove these baskets and reuse them at another course!
