Tee pads were great. Most were concrete, but if it was on a hill or a more dangerous spot, the pads were rubber to give you better traction. Tee signs kinda sucked. Some of the distances were worn off. There weren't any signs at the longs. This is the only reason I didn't give the course an A+. I can look past the signs though because nice score cards are available. Pins were very nice. The disc catcher baskets with the highly visible yellow (blue for pro-positions) band around the top. Lo ...

Great variation in altitude (some tees you get to rip em off the side of a mountain!) Overall great course with some water play and also open fields that are amazing!

Very nice course, but I expected more given its lofty rating. The back nine is a solid A but can't overcome a pedestrian front 9. The course was clean and in good repair, and you can't beat the mountain backdrop! The thinner air andlevation made it a workout as well.

This course was perfect. My husband and I have been playing for about 4 months now and this course was ideal for our skill set. It has nice well manicured open fields with few tree hazards throughout most of the course. The beginning was mostly clear, with the later holes becoming harder and a bit more wooded. There was one hole that was incredibly fun where you launch your disc off the side of a mountain. We had a great time here and will definitely be back next time we're within an hours drive ...

Wonderful time, lost a disc on three if you can believe such a thing. It was a yellow lucid enforcer. The water was fine.

One of the best courses in the state. Many review sites have Ashe dropping in the rankings...which could be justifiable considering the new high-quality courses opening in the state. However, this is a gem, and a must-play in my opinion. Better signs, and some improvements in infrastructure/maintenance could put this course back in the top 50 in the world.

Great tee pads, amazing mountain views from this gem of a course. Played the am tees because of the sheer craziness of the pro tees. Ashe County Park is a MUST PLAY!!! I would make the drive if you are remotely close to Jefferson!

What a unique but beautiful disc golf course. So challenging but really fun to play. Extreme elevation changes on a few holes. This is a parkland/wooded course that has some very tight and technical holes with some open bomber holes. 18 is their signature hole requiring a tee shot that has to navigate straight down a steep hill through the woods to reach the open fairway 500 feet away.

Perfect course. Combines fun challenging holes with scenic views, good hiking, in a serene location. Blue tees are incredibly challenging (especially throwing over the pond. Its every bit of 400 feet to clear it) and white tees offer some ace runs. Play this course.

Very good course for advanced players. Tee pads were all really nice , basket’s were in great shape, and course was well maintained. Good mix of long and short holes that use every shot you got by the end of it. I say advanced because almost every hole has a tough tee shoot or the basket is on a steep incline for rollaway putts. Love to see some pros play this one. I can’t give it an A because it is a very hard hike. Lots of up and down the mountain. They do give you some memorabl ...
