This courses nice. I am from Santa Rosa, ca. But played this while living in San Francisco. Friends and I would drive up and play this course, and sometimes we'd play one in Novato before or after.

This course has some short worthless holes near the brewery. I skip those and go straight to hole 3 or four I think it is. Of all the times I have played here we were alone most of the times. I can't remember ever seeing more than a couple other people. Which is great because we'd just make up out own course and play from home to hole however we wanted. As some have mentioned there is a green fee but if you buy a six pack or more then it's included in the price. We'd normally get several types of beer and share them between each other. Really great that there are trash and recycling cans at each hole. No litter. :)

Have been to better courses, closer courses, but this course is special. The drive to get there. The brewery, the countryside. Just great. Highly recommend but don't expect to much from the holes. There are a few nice ones requiring some distance and precision, but not all. The signage is lacking and I did spend some time wandering around looking for tees. Don't know if this has been fixed. Hopefully.

I have been using this site to locate the better courses to play and it has been quite accurate until today. This course has no signs whatsoever: none, zip, nada.
Most of the tees have a number but there are several that don't even have that. There is no map on the kiosk and the course itself is very flat. Some of the basket numbers are facing the wrong way so you have to walk all the way up to it and look on the opposite side to see if it is the correct hole (basket).
All that is ok for a C course but certainly not deserving of an A- rating!
Having played several B and A rated courses I cannot comprehend how this course got an A-. If it had any signage I could give it a C+ but without I can only give it a C-. Around the 15th hole you get a nice whiff of the sewage facility only yards away. If I lived in the nearby town of Booneville I would play it otherwise there are many superior courses all over northern California and southern Oregon that are immensely better and more fun.
