Beautifully set along the banks of the Rio Grande, featuring vistas of Blanca wetlands, Blanca Peak, and the Great sand Dunes, this course offers a variety of challenging fairways through cottonwood groves and low, sandy chaparral brush. Excellent location for bird-watching, you will find a wide variety of alpine fauna and flora, but be advised that with the exception of one portable toilet and one pavilion, there are no other amenities. Pack in and pack out your trash and supplies. Be advised that we have a resident mountain lion, and enjoy our beautiful course. The City of Alamosa and the San Luis Valley Disc Golf Association work diligently to keep our site pristine and dedicated solely for your disc golf experience. Join us for league play, or our premier SoCo Series tournament which runs May through October on the PDGA Tour.
