Welcoming course for beginning and intermediate players, though when the Melbourne Open event goes on it is pretty clear that advanced players with big arms can out drive most every pin easily. The scrub palms will leave a mark on players like me who seem magnetized to them. The front "9" (really 13 holes) are pretty easy to follow aside from hole 2 to hole 3 where you have to cross a street with little direction. It's easy to skip from 2 to 5, though instead of crossing over to 3 and 4. When it rains most of the holes get boggy and mosquitoes come out in force. Despite those issues, I feel that this course has been groomed over the last 20 years to have a challenge set up for most players on almost every hole. It's a great course to play through the morning and enjoy the tortoises and cranes strolling around the park.

Plenty of long pin positions with open fairways for big arms to let rip. The vast majority of the holes have 2-3 different pin positions and even multiple cemented teepads (some have extra carpet pads), as well as a decent bench under shade and a garbage can nearby. The teepads are newly cemented, long and flush with the surrounding earth for smooth run ups on your drive. Make sure you watch your disc especially while hitting palmetto brush, this type of bush eats discs. The ground is nice and flat with lots of good grass and fallen pine needles for great skip shots. Extra 4-6 holes make the course enjoyable, recently added new cemented teepads to the extra's and a few originals. The course is always changing and new improvements being added with various player input. Downside of the course is there are not too many natural difficult situations built into the course throwing off the teepads. The worst it gets is a lone pine tree in your throwing lane, but it is too easy to find a secondary route, you will not have to worry about finding a lane you want your disc to travel.

Hold on Jimmy Rollins just hit the winning double to basicly win the Philly game. Hell yes! Oh, I also played Malatard dubs yester. Got a lil spaced that day. My partner Joe Vigger wasnt stoked. At least I kinda had that vibe you know? He didnt answer his cell today. I dont know what our score was. I'd like to post it. I've kept up with it so far. I dont think we won. I was hella fun for me though.
