Very muddy and wet at this time of year. There is variety to the course but it goes a bit to the extreme on some holes. Right now in December, the disc can cut through the random 90 degree turns but not so much in the summer. The poor holes were almost exclusively on the back nine, specifically 17, can't remember the others. Others have an obnoxiously low ceiling like holes 8 (hanging basket hole) and 10 (90 degree left turn). Those might be fine however I could not skip shot in the snow.

Hole 2 is missing a concrete pad and a majority of the course is missing signs guiding to the next hole. Could use improvements there.

Overall, looking to go again and update the review.

This course rocks for technical game! Fairly tricky shots, some daring lines you can take. As a player who is primarily backhand, I found myself throwing some forehands on holes I felt that called for it. Fairways are clear, recommend udisc to navigate so you don't take a wrong trail off though. Few holes have water OB, has a hanging basket, concrete pads, great scenery, and mostly short holes. Even hole 18 if you want a look at a birdie you have to play a semi technical shot all the way down to the basket. Would like to see some heavier elevation change, and maybe an elevated basket or two. Great potential for this course, hope future upgrades come!

I came to this park to hike and enjoy nature ever since I was a little kid. Now when I come here I have disc golfers yelling at me to get out of their way and leave if I’m not going to even disc golf. Thanks to whoever made the decision to ruin the park. Also thanks to all the litter from the careless disc golfers!

Review as of 5-1-20: Pretty muddy In spots and the bugs were bad. I really enjoyed the majority of this course. You are forced to shape shots and hit lines or the rough will punish you. There were, however, a few nonsensical hole layouts on the back nine that make me question the knowledge and competency of the course designer. All in all, an enjoyable experience unless all you care about are throwing bombs.

Very aesthetically pleasing course, short but challenging holes with tough fairway lines. Holes 2 & 3 are a little awkward with parallel fairways both throwing the same direction, my hope/assumption is this is why they didn't pour a teepad on 2. Good signage, simple but accurate hole signs w/distance. Definitely room to improve, but overall a good course worth throwing.

If you want distance or other things addison and seymour within 10 miles from here.

Tons of dog legs & "S" shaped shots. #10 in particular was super short but was an "L" shape making it kind of silly (still thought it was fun though). Overall worth checking out. It is still relatively new so it will get better over time. I can imagine in the spring it is super wet and have heard some reviews saying that it is. I played it in October and it was completely dry.

I played here last weekend and thought it was a fun and challenging course. Some of the holes are far from your traditional layout but that was one of the things I liked. A couple fairways take a 90 degree turn (literally) causing you to focus heavily on shot placement. I'm sure it gets a lot harder in the spring and summer when there is plant growth. I'll definitely be back to play this course.

Played the course 2 times and I had mixed feelings. I like the land I like the scenery of the terrain but the course was alright. It has a lot of good holes I love the longer holes 17 and 18 are great championship level holes but the rest of the course ehh was a pitch and putt. There are a lot of good holes but too many high 200ft holes in a row could have done more with some of the land making longer and more championship level holes. From a casual view this is a good course a lot of duces and fun. Championship course it is not has a ton of potential to be and I believe with time and some changes it can be a great course.

Miles Lawrence and crew did a fantastic job here! I'm not measuring this course against Flip and Whiskey, but against new courses that have just opened and this one is right up there. Hanging basket, arrows to the next holes all over the place, tons of bridges, wood chips as pads, it's pretty amazing. Mostly wooded, plenty of short holes but not always with easy lines, solid chainstar baskets all around, elevated baskets in a few places and even some stone pilings like you'd find at Flip and Whiskey. Can't wait to play it again (should do much better next time), and please please tell me that the Murder Mitten Disc Golf Club is going to do some big tournaments with Seymore Lake Park and Dogman's Den in the same day! Kudos!

I had the pleasure of playing the course with its designer and had not only the experience of shooting the course but also insight as to what was done and why.

The quick version - I gave it a C+ based on tricky navigation in spots, its raw quality, and some areas that need to be opened up for a more friendly course experience. I could go B- but its not quite there yet and I only played it once. It is likely the most unique course shot-wise outside of Flip. Pretty short distances overall, but built with some of the craziest technical shots you can think of. And that is the spirit of that place. Not for guys who want to throw 400ft plus 10 times. There are some areas that need a bit of thought and maybe hole/tee repositioning, but there is room to do so. Raw and very new, so don't come out expecting a Hudson or Indy type of experience. Plenty of dirt areas, wood chip tee boxes (great for moving things down the road since concrete is much more $). Reminds me of Willow in terms of small lane shots, but not as many pure birdie opps. That being said you will be tested and the risk/reward factor here is about as wild as I have seen. It also has some cool loops you can enjoy to get warmed up or even play a quick mini-round. Nice feature IMO. Along with that and the unique holes I will be back for sure and cant wait to see how the course grows.

Until I play here more I cant really get overly detailed. Some of the reviews I am reading are fair in part, particularly the danger of holes 2 and 3. The shots are realllly fun and challenging, but the navigation between those holes is a bit scary. Speaking with the designer made me believe he is open to change but wants to see what he can do with things as is. And that is any new course. You cant just go in and destroy a forest and make a course. This was built on an existing trail, and so it has some great paths but a slightly restricted footprint. That being said I felt the course used the terrain pretty good on more than 50% of the holes. Adding some distance and/or Pro and Am tees will be a great addition and might happen. As support grows and money can be generated I can see this being a great disc destination.

The best part is you can come here and play for free and still hit up Holly, Addison, or Seymour for another round. It is TOTALLY worth the trip to check out. If you dont like it you can help mold the course with logical feedback. Now that is what I call a disc golf community :) Stay tuned.

Played it yesterday morning and I completely agree 100% with Skyler's review of the course. Besides being a terribly dangerous course, especially on 2-3 and also where the trail between 15 and 16 comes out right into the driving lane of 16, blindly, there are some lines and angles that made me say what the heck is this? When you have to walk further inbetween holes than what the holes actually play, I feel that the use of the land wasn't good. But, on the other hand, the designer may have only been able to put tiny holes in.

I definitely can appreciate that it's new, and I see that the designer chimed in with changes that are coming. I will definitely change my review when there is no more danger and when some baskets are moved into good distances.

First I want to say that if you are the designer of this course please don't take this personal...

Getting out of the car we had no idea which way to go. There is a small white sign that says "disc golf course" on a chain link fence but it is barely visible from the parking lot. Ok not a big deal. Tee pads are wood chips but it's a new course so okay. Holes 1-3 were decent holes by themselves until you look at them together. The pads for 2 and 3 are 60-70' apart and facing in the same general direction. This means that you have to walk the entire fairway backwards after putting out on hole 2 to get to hole 3s pad during which no one can throw hole 2. Poor design and dangerous. After hole 3 it's basically all downhill. Short putter hole after short putter hole. Most of them are lacking in character. The ones that do have some of the most "WTF?" Lines I have ever seen. The signage is lacking as well. Seymour is only 10 minutes away and is a much better course. Won't visit here again unless there is a redesign.

A beautiful heavily wooded short technical course. The course is currently in it’s best condition ever. Fairways have been trimmed and are mowed regularly. Cement pads (on the short side) are on all holes except #2. Older ChainStar baskets have glow tape on them. There is a nice option to play hole 2 from hole 3’s pad. Hole 8 has a cool hanging basket. Hole 17 provides 2 tee options. Still dangerous on a few holes that cross others. A couple holes require backtracking and there are long walks on others. Some are ace friendly and you don't need a big arm to get birdies. All holes have lines (you just have to be creative), some much tighter than others. Some holes play with water hazards along the creek. Errant drives in unforgiving rough can lead to a heap of trouble on numerous holes and elevate scores. Shot shaping is required on several unique holes. Several holes require turnover shots with high speed discs. Don’t be fooled by hole 17’s placement shot through the wall of trees. Easier than it appears. Hole 18 is the only hole to let loose on a drive but is still difficult to par with fairway trees and a dogleg right, with guardian trees near the basket. Unfortunately poor signage makes the track difficult to navigate for first timers. This, along with mostly short holes prevent this course from getting a legitimate A rating. The course is flat and holds water. Next tee trails can get wet and muddy. Trash cans on the course . Upgraded parking lot.

Terrain is rough, but the course was just installed so I assume it will get better with time (this includes the wood chip tee pads). Needs better signage to the next hole, especially on the back 9. Got lost 3 times in one round. I'm interested to see how this course will evolve.

Uses given property nicely, unfortunately there are some VERY long walks between holes and given the short hole layout makes for a long round. The long walks almost worked against the beautiful aesthetics of the property.
Nice tee signs, garbage cans spread out along with a few benches and a grill at hole 8.
