A Dean Hass Oct 2023 I love Mott Park. Want to play 9 holes? You can do that. Want to throw far? Plenty of room for that. Want technical risk/reward shots? The back 9 have you covered. Only detriment is how nasty some of the thick stuff can be.

Josh Russell's review is very detailed and accurate. He calls most holes either cool, very cool, or WAY COOL, but arrives at a B- rating. This is a course that favors big arms and those looking for re ... show more ›
C- Benjamin Demory May 2021 Some fun initial holes, but most of the course is in a field with more signage needed for direction. If you're looking for distance holes, it could be your spot, but it wasn't ours.

Good change up for the area considering most courses around here are wooded. The signage and tee pads are the best around and the river playing into a few holes is cool. The tall grass/rough on the ba ... show more ›
B+ Alex F Jul 2020 Solid course. Sweet water shots over the river.

This course is great, and has endless potential. There are a lot of long bomber holes, but a fair share of ace runs and must get birdies. The river and butterfly sanctuary add to the beauty of this pl ... show more ›
C+ Michael Fee Jun 2020 Overall a decent experience. Long Holes so make sure you have the energy to do 490 feet par 3's the entire day. Most holes on the back 9 were long and strait. Did have good detailed hole descriptions. Nice being next to the river almost the entire time. 6/10
B+ Jeff Doran Jul 2019 Nice course. Unfortunately, my 225-255 foot drives are pretty much useless here given the lack of short tees on the majority of holes, so I have no birdie opportunities whatsoever. For that reason, I give this place a B+ since it only caters to the big arms.
A Garett Patria Apr 2019 Beautiful. One of my favorites so far.
B+ Kevin Jenks Dec 2018 Much better than expected. Long open shots, be prepared to let them rip. I didnt get the golf course feel but the course was not short. Watch out for that river!

Old ball golf courses can be pretty cool. To mind comes The Ponds & Paw Paw (formerly known as Macatawa). Generally, the one thing that will be lacking is elevation. On Mott, there is one elevated ... show more ›
A- Tony T Nov 2017 Great job, Good Call and Mark. Good place to just let 'em rip. And a course in Flint city limits is great for the community. It's a lot to maintain, but regular mowing will make this a favorite for many, I'm sure.
A Matthew Stewart Nov 2017 Great use of the space, fun holes, and great tee pads. The best way to describe it is it's like a mix between frankenmuth and firefighters.

The course went in on October 7th, 2017. There isn't a lot of obstacles to work with on the land, it what is there was utilized well. A good mix of 300ft (give or take) and big long shots (450+). It ... show more ›
