I always recommend this course to beginners as it is rather short, relatively open, and there is little danger of losing a disc. It is a decently fun course and is located on a beautiful campus, but certainly would need some significant changes to host competitive rounds.

For a new course, it has great length changes. Pretty wide open which allows for forgiving shots, but the course is drastically different on a windy day. Holes 4,5,6 are much harder with a steady wind.
