Short and technical course, two trash cans near 18 and on 12. A total of 11 benches and cemented tee pads throughout the course. Somewhat tight lanes but nothing you can’t figure out, the only small downfalls would be the signs are not all portrayed accurately and it’s very open for big arm shots. Overall fun and taken care of.

Tons of fun to play. A lot of the lines make you get really creative, there are quite a few short ace runs as well. Tee pads are top notch. Pretty flat and no water so no lost discs usually. Definite ... show more ›

Tons of fun to play. A lot of the lines make you get really creative, there are quite a few short ace runs as well. Tee pads are top notch. Pretty flat and no water so no lost discs usually. Definitely worth the trip when I come up north.
Only con I would say is some of the holes are too much of a right angle and make it impossible to get to the basket. Hole 5 could be a better tee shot. I honestly play it for a 3 every time, a roller or a throw in are about the only way to get it there for birdie. Not too many signature type holes here, maybe hole 6. It’s just a northern Michigan forest course. But still plenty of fun and attackable for some low scores.

Decent course to play, some of the fairways are a little too tight but that's part of playing a wooded course. Easy to navigate but the tee signs are kind of misleading for a lot of the holes. Also the rec area it's located in has charcoal grills you can use if you want to make an afternoon out of playing here.

Absolutely no variety in this course. Everything is 150 to 250 with sharp left turn and 10 foot wide fairways. Only a couple of holes that are over 300 and they are all par 4s. The only good thing about this course is the teepads. Even the signs are terrible.

I will definitely not be wasting my time with this course again. I'd way rather drive to Grayling or West Branch and play a well designed course.

This course is best described as a short, technical, wooded course. But there are 4- 300" plus holes. There is terrific flow to the course. They have huge, textured, cement teepads- some of the best anywhere. Brand new Mach 5 baskets that are much improved over the older DGA baskets. And now they have removed all the stumps and took a heavy tiller to it all, grinding up tree roots and everything, then took a heavy rake to it. The fairways and pathways are now smooth as can be. EVERY course should do this! All they have left to do is backfill around the awesome teepads and they are done. This course has a ton of the fun factor and is highly recommended.
