Hey everyone,
I’ve played here many times over the past few years with no issue, but today there was an incident that I feel the need to post for our safety. I was walking from the 6th basket to the 7th tee (I was playing the back 9 layout, so I teed off from near the parking lot), and a dog ran up on me, barking aggressively. The dog’s owner was nearby and told me, “That’s what you get bitch.” He then claimed that the woods that contain the 6th basket are his property and that I was trespassing. He also said that he was in the process of putting up an electric fence (he was sledgehammering posts into the ground), because his barbed wire fence has not been effective. I have never encountered a barbed wire fence of any kind while there. I put my disc away and walked to my car without saying a word. This guy and his dog were both very aggressive towards me, and the guy was very angry that I was “on his property.” This is very concerning because this it the park that I take my 2 year old and 6 month old sons to. The situation seemed dangerous for me, and that’s why I left without saying a word. Be safe out there, I plan to contact the township tomorrow to verify that the course is on their land.
