B Rick Gzesh Jul 2023 Can be an awesome course. Needs new signage as old signs and maps confuse the new layout. If we hadn't met up with a local, we might still be out there trying to figure things out. Vegetation was a bit overgrown as well.
A- Emmett Messer-Kruse Feb 2024 This course has had HUGE improvements recently. The layout is there for a very special course. Still needs work but has much potential

So much potential at Sunny Lake. Some great wooded lines here on the white layout. Plenty of water and elevation. Very scenic. Several improvements in recent months. Just very wet sometimes and a lot ... show more ›

Played two rounds with varied layouts during a recent C-Tier tournament. Sunny Lake has been officially opened for two to three years now, and has had it's ups and downs. The biggest positive is the g ... show more ›

I'm going to give a B here based mostly on potential. I've seen great improvements in the course over the last several months with the new group taking on some responsibility for it. Some trees clea ... show more ›

I can see that this course has GREAT potential. Seriously, I could see this being top 5 in Ohio in a few years. Just like when many potentially great courses are in their infancy, there are some iss ... show more ›

This course seems as if it could have great potential. There definitely needs to be some effort put into better signage. Even next tee signs, and them having the appropriate numbers for the tees would ... show more ›

Still a little raw, but tons of potential here. I'd like to play the Golds to really see what this course has to offer. With some concrete tees, navigation signage, and some minor clean-up, this can ... show more ›

Easily an A course if there was a disc golf club or boy scout troop in the area to maintain it better. Only bad things i have to say are a couple tees on red and white course aren't concrete. Blue an ... show more ›
B+ Andrew Bruck Jul 2017 Course is starting to get a little beat in, but still confusing. Also, trees in the fairway can be an issue.
B+ Alex Gedra Feb 2017 Course needs work. There are still some really brutal fairways. Overall its going to be an amazing course if there are enough people to keep maintenence up. I wish there were a few more realistic Parts 3s in the Blue layout, that would up the fun of the course quite a bit.

A Robert Purdon Jun 2016 It is a joy to have this place nearby. Definitely not for the faint of heart, so for a fun and faster round I recommend playing the main 18 as a scramble. It's epic enough that I hope to be able to come watch some Pro tournament play at some point in the future.
