Nice 9-hole course within Ludington Park, along the Lake Michigan shoreline. NEW CEMENT TEE PADS were recently (4/2016) installed. Unlike most wooded courses, in the Upper Peninsula, this course is predominantly open and onshore winds have to be dealt with. This course also features one over-water shot as well as the option to throw RHBH hyzers over water on additional holes. Baskets are Innova's best baskets circa 2014. Be sure to visit the Beaten Path for all your disc needs while in Escanaba.

I'm glad this course was added here along the lake at this park and I enjoyed playing it, but the layout wasn't too interesting and it was a long walk back around to our vehicle. Hopefully someday more baskets could be added for a complete loop of some sort. Good open shot practice and fun having some right by the water.

This is a sweet 9 hole course on the beautiful shores of Little Bay de Noc! The holes are pretty wide open with a few trees but the lake is a factor on most of the holes. Throw to far or shank one and you're going for a swim! Hole 6 goes over the water to the island. The wind plays a factor most days, I've had putts get blown right out of the basket. The park has plenty of bathrooms and water fountains which is nice for a day of discin' with the family. All the signs are in and the course looks great :)

How many disc golf courses have a small beach or are on an island? I was from out of town and didn't have much time, but I was surprised by how pretty #7, #8, and #9 holes were on the small island. I had to give a B- though, because hole #1 was difficult to find (I didn't have time to keep looking) and the signage was poor (no diagram showing the path to the hole). All in all, though, a fun time. I found #9 difficult because of the trees lining the path to the hole.

I really like this course for this area..Offers some big rip shots and is a lot of fun..Only downfall is the walk from 9 to 1, But walking does the body good.
