Positives:
Multiple tees: Both pro and am tees on every hole. Level and of decent size. Same pad design as Rockness. Perfect design for this course setting.
Great mix of holes: Hyzer, Anhyzer, short, long, over water or land. There are a great mix of holes on both the front and back.
Water holes: I love a challenge and water holes are usually that. These are very well done since there are places to layup if you're unsure or unprepared with your distance.
Signs: Quirky and fun, but informative.
Negatives:
Directions: If you haven't played here it can be a little difficult to figure out the next hole location. There are directional arrow that hang below each basket, but they're small.
Not a big arm course: Only one hole is really there to air it out but that's North Carolina disc golf for ya. Would be nice to have more openness, especially with Rockness right down the road, just for variety.
Overall:
An overall great course. I also love the idea of having 2 top notch courses in Roxboro within 10 minutes of each other. Makes for great tourney opportunities. I think this course will grow into one pros will visit and love. Beautiful setting, great mix of holes and definitely a challenge.
