I like the brick tee pads, as long as they're kept level. The other surfaces used work pretty well too, except for the carpet over some lumpy ground. The course will get get a bump in rating for me once there are good usable pads on all holes. Definitely a big improvement over where things stood a year ago, though. The extra clearings and path work have been great, too. The shorter pads/tees on many holes are a great addition, I'd love to see them on all holes for Women's and Rec. divisions, but that's asking a lot!

This course is bound to be a favorite for many in no time at all -- Stacy already puts it in her Oregon favorites after just today! It's a fair course that at turns requires mostly accuracy, and sometimes distance, which is what I like to see in a course.

The rest of the rubber tee pads were supposed to arrive August 10 but they told me because the "weather conditions in the east" that they should arrive at the end of September. By then, we will have all 18 pads and most of the wooden tee signs routed and up. :)
