This is my current favorite course in the area. Compared to the other three I went to, this does have great navigation, elevation, trees, no mud, rolly and bumpy elevation change, which is great, and no mud. Endicott also has these attributes but it is not in as safe of an area. The length of a hole varied from 230 to 800 feet. The navigation was awsome as it told me where every hole is on the map by hole 1, where the next hole was on the tee pad sign, and some navigation arrows on trees. There were elevation changes everywhere. Each hole had O.B. and a fairway that had to be carefully navigated. You cannot just fling your disc. You have to think before you throw and have a plan for of where to throw since each hole was somewhat technical with O.B. on one side. The designer did a great job on basket placements since he would not place the basket on boring flat ground half the time.

Championship caliber course designed by one of the area's great course designers, David McCormack. This course will challenge even the top pros with tough lines and plenty of out of bounds, but rewards well executed and placed shots with birdie opportunities. Now featuring concrete teepads and a stretched out back nine holes, it has made it's way into one of the best in the Saint Louis area.

This was a very interesting course, built on an old subdivision that was wiped out by a tornado, bought by a nearby airport to use for runways, and then abandoned (somewhat, now there is a well maintained disc golf course there). 18x Gateway Titan baskets (plus a few extras that appeared to be alternate pin placements, maybe championship baskets). Interesting pin placements included several with death-putt elevation or OB roads directly behind. To get into the A range they would need scorecards with maps & OB definition, cement tee pads, and a bit of clean up (including covers for some for the storm drains that could have swalled a disc whole). I had an exceptional time this round through, playing with Dave, Danger Dave, Dom and crew from Gateway while in town for a business trip. Recommended!
