B+ Geoffrey Marsden Feb 2023 Great beginners course as it’s hard to lose discs. My kids and I can both enjoy and round or two

If you are in the Salem area, you definitely want to stop by and shoot this nine holer in a great setting on the grounds of an historic building. It is fairly open but not a lot of length, though ther ... show more ›
C+ David James Sep 2019 low trees and OB paths throughout. Hard to loose a disc here.
C+ Jimmy Moore Sep 2019 Not your average 9 Hole course! Flat for the most part with lots of tree's to navigate. Walking paths make interesting OB lines with low ceilings everywhere. Only a few of these holes are reachable by the advanced level arm.

Perfect course for the beginner, yet challenging enough for any level player. This 9 hole course is about one mile around, and has a combination of long and medium length holes. The course is very ope ... show more ›
A Rick Saffeels Apr 2017 This has got to be one of the hardest courses in Salem to shoot under par for the majority of people. I love the layout and would only like to see hole 2 in a longer pin position. Great to see this project rolling in the right direction!

Weird course right outside the Oregon State Hospital (where One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was shot). Almost completely flat. Lots of old trees and a low canopy on a lot of holes, which makes some dr ... show more ›
C+ Silas Prince May 2014 fun, technical course! love the tone poles!!!

I am working on upgrading this course. Numerous obstacles include the fact that it is a part of the state hospital and in a historic location. I am currently working with the hospital administration o ... show more ›
D+ Grape Ape Nov 2013 Fun course.....but no tee pads or signage....First time on tones and had a blast. Up grade the course and this could be an easy A.
B+ Reuben G Feb 2013 Beautiful lawn on this historic hospital, this tone course is weaved over several walk paths, and old tennis courts. Marked the tees with numbered stakes, so rate it higher now...
C- Chris "The Lip" Lippert Aug 2012 its a fun short course with a few technical shots. Tee pads are very tough to find. There was also a tone missing the last time i was there, which is only a minor problem because there is still a pole to hit.
C- Bill Harpster Jul 2012 Ok so if you have a guide you will be able to play this course, BTW tone pole are very hard to hit(not forgiving). Not to long or short.

I don't think any course with no tee pads or some kind of signage should get a rating better then a C.
D- Jacob Severson Jul 2012
Tones are always going to get a lower ranking due to the fact that well.......they are tones. That being said the layout is not to bad with some technical sides but there are no tee pads or even marke ... show more ›
C THE "BEAST" OF THE WOODS May 2012 This 9 hole beauty is a great winter course. Not too easy, not too technical. Tone poles instead of baskets require accurate putting, no tee-pads but with a guide you can find your way to tee areas. No underbrush so you won't loose a disc here.
B Steven Egler Nov 2011 nice place for tones, good workout great grounds
