This is a place for field work that you coincidentally have baskets to throw at. Almost completely open on all holes. No requirement for any type of shots other than throwing hard. You won't get better at many aspects of the game here. Hole 17 is the only hole that required much of anything. It is an ok place for beginners to come and learn to throw, but won't learn much more. If you are in the area and are looking for something to do, it is ok. Don't make a trip just to play here.

This is my home course. Three pads and two baskets provide a lot of variety and challenge although some of the pads are not level and kind of rough. Red tees and purple baskets combos can provide some very interesting variety like on hole #1 so don't think the shorter tees won't challenge. I agree with the other reviewers that OBs do provide more of a challenge than at first appears for this very wide open course. Some decent uphill (#5) and down hill (#6, #14) shots provide elevation variety. Some lake hazards can come into play depending on what layout you play for 1, 17 and 18. Small creeks/ditches also define some OB on 2, 3 & 6 and can come into play. Blue to Purple on #13 and #14 are listed at over 1000' each and allow you to bring as much arm as you possibly can (I think they are a bit shorter but that's whats on the sign). #10 White to Purple is both long and challenging to the pin which is tucked into some moderately thick trees. Youth sports practices may impede your round @ #3, #4, #15 and #16 but 90%+ of the time this is not a problem. This is primarily in lat August through October, just be mindful of others.

The tree play is not technical (except 17) but with heavy cross and head wind , tournament OB, and elevation changes the course is way more challenging than the wide open feel leads you to believe. I played my 1st tournament here Saturday. Also first time playing the course which is a move I don't recommend lol. The OB was a little frustrating but otherwise a great course. It offers a lot more variety than the first glance suggests, as well as some straight bombs. Well worth the hour and a half from where I live. I'll make a day trip soon just to get a few rounds in there.

This is a well-kept park in Purcellville, VA. The course itself doesn't offer much in the way of technical challenges. All of the holes are pretty much straight up and down with the exception of a few uphill shots and one downhill shot. After a while, the course becomes pretty boring. I only play it when I am in the area. I would never travel just to play this course.

Long and wide open with little chances of O.B. I enjoy courses like this. Plus, had three sets of concrete tees and two baskets with multiple placements per hole. Downside, if lacrosse, soccer, or fishing is going on you may have to limit some holes. Nice park. As far as technical, it's not, but I heard they are going to put 18 more holes on the other side of the baseball fields which will be in the trees. If so, I just might make it a monthly requirement.
