B Robert Black Bart Aug 1 Rolling landscape with natural & pathway tees, well groomed fairways that includes some hazards & couple of mandos. Slick redesign!

Definitely the most under-rated course in the area. It's got a great variety of short and long holes and different lines. Challenging course to par but only a few places you're likely to lose a disc ( ... show more ›
B Tom Wagner Nov 2023 Lightly wooded college course. Natural and sidewalk pads. Tee posts with hole numbers. Clean and well maintained. The sprinklers come on in the morning. A few unique holes, one with a water hazard. Nice redesign. Big parking lot. The most convenient start is on on hole 4.
C+ Paul DISC-OR-DIE Holstein May 2018 I'm not sure which of the courses (Devil's Creek or Blue Devil) is still there, or maybe they are 9 each? There were 18 as of 5/6/18 with basket #7 missing.
B michael snake zander Jul 2022 Good course i like the layout and the scenic view. Have a course map to get around. Not every hole has a tee pad sign. Other than that i love the course

Very fun, very unique course. Some of the city backdrops in the first few holes are absolutely awesome. Hole 17, the course's signature hole in my opinion, will soon be the prettiest disc golf hole ... show more ›

First let's get one thing out of the way. This is a course playing through and around a college campus. There are not any tee pads but semi permanence is important when working around buildings and ca ... show more ›
C+ Michael Ball Feb 2015 The course gets most of its score for being accessible and fun to play. Its too easy to get a higher score and the danger of loosing a disc is too high as well.
B mitchell ferrell Nov 2014 I don't like how close it comes to the road
B+ Jeff Hulet Oct 2014 I like the course, but the Out of Bounds (OB) were killing my scores, the wind and my putting did not help either!
A- Ryan A Oct 2015 I actually live on campus here at LTU and have played it many times. New holes are amazing and give you a great challenge. Good variety. You should definitely try it
D+ Casey Creason Jul 2014 Front 9 poorly maintained. Back 9 contains lots of risk to buildings, pedestrians and cars.

I do not know how this course is rated a B. Drove the 20 minutes to go play somewhere different. Spent 10 minutes driving around campus trying to find hole 1. Had to go off a picture post on here to g ... show more ›

I've changed my mind about this course since my last review. I think I was caught up in my dissapointment with what we got versus what I was expecting, but it actually is a decent course. Many differe ... show more ›

Fun course high end baskets but no tee pads? There is a lot of shot diversity on these 18 short holes, long holes, and really short holes. Did not really care for how urban it is being next to parkin ... show more ›

Some holes too short. No tee pads and lack of signage for next hole make navigation tough. 2 tees had soccer matches somewhat inhibiting the throw from the tee. Lots of potential with some love and ca ... show more ›

Not a bad course, unique aspects like basket postioned inside steel girdered structure, very tall reeds, raods(Lodge freeway) and lots of OB. The long and short holes make this course worth a stop if ... show more ›

First time playing. Not a great course. Not a terrible course. Pros: - Cool urban/wooded layout - Decent use of land given - Good balance of rhb, lhb, and straight holes - Hole 18 is one of th ... show more ›
A Joseph Peterson Oct 2010 This is the course I started on. The river and the two reed patches are both good places to lose discs. Control is what is required to navigate this course.

The multiple diverse elements are what makes this course unique. This course takes you on a journey down through a wooded valley where the Rouge River runs through, back up to a giant clearing ('the ... show more ›
B+ Chadd Scruggs Mar 2024 i like the tons of variety from short holes to longer holes, there are shot in the open through trees, need all types of throwing... may not be the longest course but it does require some skill to do good... good for what youd expect on a small college campus...
A Andrew Przytulski Oct 2010 Great to see someone put that much work to put in 18 holes in such a small space. Once the pads go into place (no concrete : (, wood chips or something) its going to be pretty sweet.
B Scott White Oct 2010
A can honestly say there is no other course like Larry Tech. This course designer was not constrained by the typical disc golf weenies and it is not a course for the dumb casual. You need to play sm ... show more ›

First off, Ben Calhoun hates any duece or die course because he can't make a five foot putt. This course is tons of fun, combining urban aspects to some naturistic holes. We already added long tees to ... show more ›
A g lane Jul 29 excellent course with descriptive signs illustrating exceptional routes which play to challenging fairways. home of the worlds tallest reeds. must see.
B+ "Boston" Dan DePaulis DePaulis Sep 2010 Nice little course. Not much land to work with but they did the best they could with what they had. Great views of downtown Southfield, sick putt through a metal sculpture, and wacky drives off dorm room roofs. Gotta love it.
B Ron Mallinger Mar 2024
Yes, the course is cramped. Yes, most of the holes are really narrow and close to busy roads, sidewalks, etc. The tee signs maybe facing the wrong way, and there are no tee pads, but you don't really ... show more ›
