Was in the area with family and got to steal an hour to run over and check out the world's first disc gold course! Only got to play 9 holes, but got the flavor of it. There are bins of loaner discs at ... show more ›
A+ Michael Van Fleet Aug 2022 Sure new tee pads and any kind of signage might be nice. But hard to not love a classic for what it is.
B Gil Gorham Jul 2022
I loved the challenge of the course but it had no visible markers to know where the next hole is, udisc wasn't up to date, the tee pads are old rubber mats, ankle breakers, the first 4-5 baskets are s ... show more ›
A+ Ruthie Stauffer Aug 2019 I love this course!
A- Jacques Voyemant Aug 2019 Some temporary Wintertime tee pads are sliding out of place and over uneven ground.

Played this course in April of 2018 (4/20). I felt really lucky to be able to play the first ever permanent disc golf course, and it didn't disappoint. Very scenic surroundings, cement pads, great b ... show more ›
A- Thaddeus Roenitz Jan 2018 I love this course. There have been a few changes through the years. My first California desert course. Beware of snakes and crazies! Beautiful Live Oaks throughout the entire course hide baskets. Blind shots after blind shots. This course will make your day!
A+ Braxton Finklesteam May 2016 First course, best course! Super technical love it! Get some, OG for life!
B Joe Hewlett Sep 2015 Hate giving the first course less than an A. Also, I only played it a couple of times, with Frisbees in the early 1980s. I remember it being small, with some holes incorporating manmade obstacles. Glad this historical course has been protected from the soccer mom's trying to acquire real estate.
A+ Jeremy Moran Jan 2014 Really fun round at the World's First Disc Golf Course. Worth a drive if you're visiting SoCal!
B Christopher Potton Apr 2013
Being a Disc Golfer this is defiantly a course to play, being the first course. If you don't have great accuracy off the tee pad, this is the course to make you better. I gave this course a B simply b ... show more ›

Very technical course, not too long, but trees, wind, and sometimes locals, affecting every shot on the course. Basket placements are ridiculously well thought out. No signs make it impossible to fi ... show more ›
B David Dimaya Jun 2012 There is no signage at this course but its pretty basic layout without everything being all jumbled together. There is a couple of holes like hole 7 and hole 9 which can use some work but other than that it my second favorite course because its close and my first course ever played.
B+ Rob Jackson Apr 2012 Love the huge trees on opening holes. Some holes have some nasty thick brush, but on the whole a great course!
A Ryan Ranes Nov 2011 I had alot of fun when i played it not very many bomb drives the course is based on accuracy shots. Plus its the first course ever!
C+ Cameron Aragonez Jun 2011 I had to have some people go ahead of me, did not understand the layout of the course without a guide. As for challange goes, a very advanced course. At least I got a chance to play on the first disc golf course in LA.

B+ Erik Tallakson Apr 2011 I love this course when you get to throw over a ravine full of water on hole 14, it really gets the adrenaline pumping, haven't lost a disc at this course yet (knock on wood).
