B+ Jason DeMartin May 2023 Fun course. 2/3 is wooded and technical, 1/3 kinda open. Two water carry shots, not too hard though. I really enjoyed this place. All shots will be needed.
A- Geoffrey Marsden Mar 2022 It’s a great course that has come a long way.
B Malum Nothis May 2020 Great course in the immediate Salem/Keuzer area. Lots of trees with both technical and long shots.
B+ David James Jan 2020 POISON OAK in summer. 2 water hazard holes. Timber + some open.
B- Jimmy Moore Sep 2019 Front 9 has some tight poke and hopes! Back 9 has some bombers. Overall, excellent mix of open/wooded holes for the advanced level player.

Great mix of technical woods shots, water hazards and open fields. Drove down from Portland out of curiosity and was not disappointed. Great course, and very clean and well maintained. Only negatives ... show more ›

As a first time player on this course, I absolutely hated it. Most of it was that it is so hard to find the next tee pad. The only hint is a direction sign on the previous basket but there are so ma ... show more ›

Great course! The first half is very technical in the forest, then it really opens up. Even has a water crossing which is cool. I love the challenge of this course, it seems to have a little bit of e ... show more ›
A- Daniel Schoonover Jul 2017 Fun course that challenges you throughout. Once you get through the woods you are rewarded with some holes you can open up a bit with. And then it ends back in the woods. One of the best courses within 20 miles of Salem.
B+ Jenn Woodward Mar 2016 So fun! This course is a terrain challenge. A few ponds and uphill/downhill action. Will play again soon!
B+ Rob Sweitzer II Feb 2016 A lot of different types of holes. I like this course.
B+ Christopher R Feb 2015 Course was fun. I got to ask though, why are the tee markers facing Away from the tee pad?? Just seems weird. Gets a little confusing with half of the signs missing. But I would definitely play again, now that I know which way to go.
C Zac Teuscher Oct 2015
The actual part of the course is great! More cleared out than even after the mowing! The tee sign posts are a hazard as stated numerous times. I hit two of nine on my follow through. The lack of tee ... show more ›

I only give this course a C (passing grade). It has nice tee pads but the course in my mind is a big mess, no alt tee pad for 12 or we gave up looking after about 15 mins. It was so windy I wasn't goi ... show more ›

B+ Dru Stylez Jan 2014 Nice Course, lots of Great shots here and a Few Hole's to stretch your arm out on too. Good Tee's and decent Signs. Flows a little rough, need a guide for sure. POISON OAK HELL! I will NOT be playing this Course in Summer.
B Jeff Levell Jan 2014 Fun course! Bring a map.
B- Broken Top Mar 2014 I do not like this course. I get tired of ferns and brush. Many people do like it and the people I play with love it, but I'm just not a fan.
C Ryan Wright Dec 2013 This course is not well taken care of, and is a mess in many areas. I am glad I played it the winter when most of the overgrowth is dormant.
B+ Tim Becker Dec 2013 Awesome new layout with a variety of all shots! Love the new course and its definatly moved up in my book.
B- Russ Brown Sep 2013
This is one of those "going to be a great course" someday courses. A course that's a lot like Bryant or Wilder, as it needs a lot of work all the time, to keep it from getting out of hand. I would rea ... show more ›
B+ Cron Emus Jul 2013 Great variety of shots, some holes seemed too easy and unnecessary. Lots of blackberry and nettles. Basket for 18 was missing. Really fun course, great addition to the Salem scene.
B Cody H Jul 2013 They have been making some change to this course like moving holes 17 and 18 and with the use the course has been getting the holes are getting a little tamer. This is a blast one of my favorite courses.
C Josh Jones Jul 2013 Lots of poison oak!! Otherwise, not a bad course. Better than I had expected actually. Definitely some sketchy shots that would not be good for a beginner.
B+ Matthew Bressler Dec 2013 Really enjoy this course. In the summer look out for poison oak. Two over water shots. 18 holes with great tee pads. Lots of variation. Not much elevation change.
A shane kirby Mar 2013 awesome coarse. instant favorite
A Alex Lofting Dec 2012 Loved it but, it was really wet the day I went. Great Challenge course. Little hard finding holes but, the map helped.
C Slick WIllie Oct 2012 Tee Pads awesome, the rest of the park kinda sucks, overgrown worse than Waterloo, now i remember why I have not been out there for 2 years.
B Michael "Parker" Ray Aug 2012

B Lance Jones Apr 2012 fun course, recommend spotters, played it solo and did not lose a disc but did spend a little time looking.
B Shay Courville Jan 2012 Great course. Nice and technical. Just needs cement tee's.
B+ Bill Harpster Dec 2011 Overall this is a great course needs some finish work done to it, but as you can see it will be challenging without a SPOTTER especially in the fall and winter months. Keep up the good work and finish this damn course already.
A Steven Egler Feb 2013 place gets better and better!!!
B- Don Alexander Feb 2013 Lots of Potential - Course needs major brush cutting and poison oak removal in some areas. Recommend spotters.
A- kelly heard Aug 2011 Real fun and tough course. It's tough finding some holes with out a guide to direct u. Aldo should have spotters lots of vegitation

A THE "BEAST" OF THE WOODS Jun 2012 Front 9 reminds me of the Speeder Bike scene on Return Of The Jedi! New tee-pads make this course much more playable year around. If you have not been here in a long time, you should come back to see how much work has been done.
A+ Robert Littrell Apr 2013 UPDATE This course has only gotten better. Concrete teepads and tee signs at every hole. Lots of brush has been removed. Very technical. Bring spotters. Great course. Caution: POISON OAK & STINGING NETTLES. No biggie though. Tough it out. New pin locations on #14 & #15 add even more distance.
D Shane "Never Say Die" Becker May 2011 The opening of the last 6 or so holes mad for a very nice 18 hole course.love the wooded atmosphere. But with that atmosphere comes the Poison Oak!!! It is thick out there BE CAREFULL
A Ugh Massa Feb 2012 awesome improvements. the course is playing the best i've seen.
B+ Gavin "Sonny" Raney Apr 2011 Front 9 is fairly technical for a beginner like me, narrow wooded drives with several angles of approach. Back 9 is more open & has several unique tee shots. It's a new course so I cant really complain about the foliage. Love how it feels like you're in the middle of the woods.
B jordan paasch Mar 2011 no comment
B+ TOE "Tee Off Even Under Pressure" UP Oct 2010 man i played there before they open the place and man it was really hard but fun and i have seen lots of deer there witch was pretty cool
