Super awesome course located in a nicely maintained city park. Concrete tee pads. Technical course that has good elevation changes and requires all of the different shot shapes. The front 9 is more open and has some nice ace runs or easy birdies but also has a several that you get to let loose on. a pond is in play on holes 2 and 3. and then a small creek on 4 and 5. Hole 7 is a big bomber and can be hole 9. There is a small creek that can come into play on hole 10. you have to throw over it and then walk up the sidewalk and over the road bridge and then down to the green which is bit of a walk. Back 9 starts to get into the woods and has much narrower fairways. There is a creek along 12 and 13 that an errant shot could find it. Big downhill bomber shot on 15. after 17 you have to walk back up to the sidewalk and head towards parking lot to get to 18s tee. If you in the area definitely worth the stop to play.

This is a great course, it has two distinctly different sides that demand a variety of shots to navigate. The front nine is fairly open but requires precise shot shaping to avoid trees, water and the OB areas. The back 9 takes you into the woods where you need to be able to hit very small windows and make good recovery shots.

The course gets a decent amount of traffic but isn't as packed as Eastern on the nice days. It has several signature holes (#8 the fun-hater, #10 over-the-creek and #15 bombs-away) but the entire course layout is well done. The only complaint is the regular layout for 3-6 is really ungainly, I like the tournament layout much better and hope the people in charge consider moving those tee-pads permanently.

Well worth including in a trip if you're from out of town, although I definitely recommend printing a map or bringing a local with you since a couple holes aren't exactly where you expect them to be the first time!
