The course is now a 21 hole course. Front 11 is placed in the City's old tree nursery which is mostly mowed. Don't let that confuse you into thinking they are all easy birds!. all the holes use the tree's very well. you need to be able to work the disc left or right. Two of the new holes connect the front and the back together nicely. The local club has installed tee signs and rubber tee pad's to the Beast, or the back 10. The next step coming soon is leveling of a few tee pads on the beast.

Played for the first time besides winter today. Front nine is pretty decent good tees with two on each hole. Long holes for the most part and some difficult tee shots. Needs updated signage. Now the back nine is a beast with no signs at all and no tee pads thus the C rating. It could be a really good 18 if all the pads and signage were dialed in but other than that it's a fun course.

i like Rock River.its a good course it has what it takes to be a champion course,nice open shots and tough approaches,you got tight wooded fairways and tons of terrain, a really evil rough that will eat your disc. signage is good for most of the park, but give this place some more time to put up proper signs and work things out with the newer part of the course and this could be one of the best in the area easily.
