Though it can be said the course is open, and for those with big arms a bit short, this course has its own set of difficulties. Because of its openness wind is a big factor here. Especially since it is played around an old sledding hill and there are many elevation changes. Water is in play for 6 of the 18 holes making this a tough course to play for beginners without much control.
The biggest downside to this course is the fact it is frequently vandalized by local kids leaving signs a mess most of the time.
It is considered an easier course as far as 18 holes are concerned but is harder than the 9 hole courses in the area (1 hour drive)
Having played at a number of them now I would easily say its on the upper side of the local area (again 1 hour drive from here) courses.
