This is a fun beginner-level course that I typically play 2-3 rounds fairly quickly. With the design and the lower canopies on trees and overall tree placement, it does present some challenges for intermediate players. The course is flat and the signs and launch pads are generally well maintained by the city park department. I have heard some people suggest that the neighborhood is a bit rough, but I have played this course dozens of times (including twilight) and have never had an issue. Wish it had better tree cover around the playground to protect from errant throws and 9's teepad should be better protected from hole 4. I will typically drive with putters or mid-ranges when playing 7 and 8 if there are children at the playground.

all baskets are very close. the signs are wrong on the direction of the basket and the park is very close to baskets. children running around on the course and dog walkers getting right in the way and stopping to talk even tho you are trying to throw so you have to sit there and wait for 10 minutes until they move out of the way

Very small 9-hole course in a neighborhood park. Concrete tee pads. Mostly flat with trees serving as obstacles. Better for beginners.

The holes (at least, the ones still with placards) are either Par 3 or Par 4, depending on what you choose. Personally, I felt that they could have just gone with a mixture instead of an Option A or B for each hole.

The park is poorly maintained. Most of the tee pads are missing their placards, so most of the time you're shooting blind. It doesn't help that the layout puts many of the baskets close together, which can be confusing if you don't spend a lot of time at this course. Some of the baskets aren't even marked and are falling apart.

It's not an all-around terrible course, but obviously not entirely purposed for it. A couple holes were nice, but the trees don't really make challenging obstacles unless you want to play with a mando.

I can't honestly say it's worth the trek if you don't live relatively close to the area. I'm a Rockfordite so it's a bit of a ways out for me.
