Hey, FYI this weekend (Sunday) I watched some asshole miss a putt on hole 10, and proceed to go apeshit on the basket--grabbing it, thrashing it back and forth. It looks ok from afar, but it's now loose in its hole. I wanted to say something but I was alone and this guy seemed like he had anger issues.

Last Friday (12 Feb) lost my Pink ESP Buzzz off 17's tee it straight out towards the creek and had some late fade. Afraid it might be in the drink but it could be somewhere on the ice along the bank. ... show more ›

Last Friday (12 Feb) lost my Pink ESP Buzzz off 17's tee it straight out towards the creek and had some late fade. Afraid it might be in the drink but it could be somewhere on the ice along the bank. Similarly off 18 I lost my 3x Maroon Champ Thunderbird took a skip to the left about 60 ft from the basket. Also might be in the creek but here's to hoping. Name and number inked on both Beer if found. Also found A disk out off 17 if you message me and describe it I would gladly return. However not ink on it.

Enhancement Project To Do List-- PLEASE LOOK THIS OVER AND SEE WHAT INTERESTS YOU OR WHAT YOU HAVE TIME AVAILABLE FOR AND COMMENT BELOW...thank you.
Tee Pads
-Install forms--need volunteer with truck to pick up materials Friday evening or Saturday and deliver to my shop (midtown) then same or another volunteer with truck to take out cut material to PC Sunday.
-Level forms and back fill along outside edges
Cement Pour Day
-Level wet concrete after pour, and brush for texture
-Rope off around tee pads
-Shift volunteers to keep an eye on course during dry time and open park hours primarily Monday afternoon, and Tuesday day.
Fairways
-Clear fairways of downed trees and branches
-Line fairways and connecting paths with down trees (cleaned of branches)
-Create piles of dead wood along main paths for mulching
-Back fill heavily eroded fairways with top soil before mulching
-Rent wood shredder and mulch dead piles
-Wheel barrow and mulch fairways (we will start from the basket and work back to the toward the tees)
Signage
-Kiosk map, donor, course play etiquette signs made and hung
-Tees signs and trash cans moved, some posts will need to be reinforced or refabricated with new 4x4
-Hole distances recalculated for distance
-Tees signs made and hung

Ideally, if someone had a box truck that we could use for a week or two to store our tools at the course that would be incredibly helpful. We desperately need wheel barrows probably 4 at minimum. If enough of you sign up for hours, I can create a schedule.

I am pushing to pour cement on Monday July 1, yes this coming Monday. My birthday is on Sunday and would like to do a volunteer work bbq party. Any volunteers to bring a gas grill out? I am waiting to make sure there is no wedding planned there for Sunday. Will know by later today or early Friday morning for sure.

Many hands make light work. The more in advanced I know who is available the better organized I will have the projects so our time is productive. Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I have put together a plan for the upgrades to pc this summer. I call it an Enhancement Project because it uses the existing layout with some improvement. My email is [email redacted] If you send me a email, I will reply with the info and overview map.

This proposed layout will use the existing course with improved enhancement.
Benefits:
• Multiple basket locations to help with erosion control
• No clearing of new fairways
• Course flow is maintained and locals will not see drastic change to layout
• Easier permit application due to no tree removal
• Less work for the volunteers (shorter construction period)
General upgrades hole by hole
 Hole 1 = Tee pad moved back 10 feet and addition sleeve straight ahead
 Hole 2 = Tee pad moved back 20 feet and addition sleeve straight ahead
 Hole 3 = addition sleeve to the right
 Hole 4 = no change
 Hole 5 = Tee pad moved back 15 feet and addition sleeve further to the left
 Hole 6 = addition sleeve further to the right
 Hole 7 = Tee pad moved back 60 feet
 Hole 8 = rope railing with terrace steps for safety down the hill and addition sleeve straight ahead
 Hole 9 = addition sleeve to the right
 Hole 10 = Tee pad move back to create dog leg
 Hole 11 = Tee pad moved back 10 feet and addition sleeve to the left
 Hole 12 = addition sleeve straight ahead
 Hole 13 = no change
 Hole 14 = addition sleeve to the left
 Hole 15 = Tee pad moved back 40 feet and addition sleeve straight ahead

Rubber tee pads with compacted gravel base contained with wooden frame.
Benefits:
• Lighter materials to haul in
• Removable if needed (not permanent / less permanent footprint)
• No heavy equipment needed for installation
• Less impact on players with softer surface
Disadvantages :
• Needs upkeep about every 4 to 5 years with compacted gravel
