1-6 are solid. My wish for Schenley is that a few of the baskets between 7 and 17 are moved off of that hillside and out into the adjacent park. It looks like there’s room across Overlook towards th ... show more ›
B+ Randy Beans Mar 2023 A standard in the Pittsburgh area, Schenley Park is one of the best places to go for a casual round. It offers a variety of shots but most holes can be birdied with a straight mid-range disc. The course plays smoothly and the only downside is the mudslide on holes 5, 6, and 18.

I love this course! The front 9 offers some of the best "Par 3" action in the Greater Pittsburgh Area (even if hole 2 is notoriously long for a par 3...). I make trips to this course all the time if I ... show more ›
B+ Bradford Baylor Dec 2020 Nice combination of open and wooded, not as hilly as the rest of pa courses.
B+ Ryan Riffner Dec 2020 A Little muddy and slippy on holes 5 and 18.
B+ John Dunphy Jul 2019 fun little course to play when you're in the city. starting holes are nice and open and gets tight when you get in the woods. middle holes are a little congested but manageable. plays fairly quick when you're playing solo

This is where I learned to disc golf. It’s a beautiful course perfectly nestled in practically the heart of the city. It’s still my favorite course to play although I’ve played several others si ... show more ›

Only course close to Pittsburgh besides Phillips 9 Hole Course at Carrick HS. Only legit Par 4 is on Hole #2. Good elevation changes. I use a wide variety of discs on this course. Got an ACE on #10 o ... show more ›
A- Jason Gram Aug 2018 Really nice fun course. Great use of space with decent elevation but not bad. 1st 5 holes are open for most part then 6-17 are in the woods. 18 throws out to the skating ring.
B Anthony Shank Apr 2018 Was a windy day. Doug Hardman and I played Muddy. White tees

I love Schenley. This is a great course to really work on your mechanics if you are a beginner and a great course to just have fun and play. Challenging? At times it can be with all the trees on the b ... show more ›
B+ Dan Ziober Jun 2017 I like this small course. Lot's of trees on the back, short and open on the front.
C Macky D Dec 2016 can't ask for much better, for it being basically a par 3 course. But that's just it, it's a par 3 course
A+ Dave Ferrell May 2016 Very Short and Technical Course.
B- Luke Racek Apr 2016 Overall a fun course to play, but its a game of inches because of the number of trees. They can easily ruin your score.
B+ Matt ONeil Jun 2014
If your looking for a quick game this is the place to go. As long as there is no big groups in front of you. Some are nice enough to let you go through and others don't care. Hole 2 is a nice wide ope ... show more ›

What makes this course is its charm. A beautiful stroll through a city park, enjoying areas unexplored by most visitors. You can take in nice views of downtown and Oakland. It is well maintained. T ... show more ›
B+ Angela Ott Aug 2013 Ahhh the trees. For a beginner like myself, my discs quickly found the love for trees. Having only been playing the sport for a couple of weeks when we played here, it was fun. Definitely want to return for another round and also to watch the championships in 2014.
B Richie Paulos Jul 2013 Don't be fooled by the open field for the first few holes. the rest of the course is deep in the woods. Lots of trees, well maintained and not too hard to navigate. Overall above average course.
B Larry Bright Jr. Jul 2013
Decent little course that is definitely beginner-friendly. Concrete tees for some short red tees, which are generally under 200 feet, and white tees, that are generally under 250 feet. There is desi ... show more ›
B Luke Mohamed Jun 2013 Pretty good course. Very well maintained. Most of the holes are a little shorter, but trees make it challenging.

Schenley is an old school DG course, installed in 1988. Very tight in places and holes are often close to each other, making league nights an exciting time to watch other players shots to be sure yo ... show more ›
