A Jimmy Moore Sep 2019 Champoeq is a must play. Multiple teepads for most holes and nicely updated teesigns. Course winds through a portion of the state park and is very well cared for. This is a longer course with some big arm shots.
A Logan Russell Sep 2016 Open fields, some wooded holes
A- Jenn Woodward Aug 2016 This was a great course! Even when it was hotter than Hades, we had a great time out there!!
B- Jason Martin Jan 2016 A few spots with deep standing water, but very playable. The par 4 was on hole 10, not hole 4.
A- Aytch Roberts Dec 2014 Actually a great course, just very soggy but then this was the Swamp Stomp so I guess that's a bonus!
D- Ryan Borden Mar 2015 Got lost about 5 times because a lack of good signage.
Inconsistent baskets throughout the course.
B+ Sean Chapman Nov 2014 Fun course!!! The new layout can be tough. The teepads are BIG and all holes have multiple pin placements. The course is still missing tee signs and its hard to navigate if your a first timer. Also, there is still a few holes with the old baskets but most have the new Mack X's.
A Adam Renfro Nov 2014
The changes made here have turned this place into an A+ tournament course. It has everything to challenge a player, obs, dense oak trees, enough long holes and obstacles on every hole you really have ... show more ›
A- Chris Faudree Sep 2014 New layout.
A rick manley Aug 2014 this new 18 is incredible.
B+ Mark McKeever Jun 2014 Nice course except for the rubber mat tees, a few of them needs to be replaced badly.
Nice mix of short and long difficult shots because of all the trees, but a good place to work on your game.
A- David Aman Jun 3
"Champoeg Disc Golf Club" on Facebook is working with the State Park to improve the course. Check there for updates. On 8-18-2014 18 new huge tee pads were poured. As of 9-18-2014, 18 holes are in! ... show more ›
C Dan Beegle Jan 2014 Cool course. crowded. Every whole is basically straight ahead.
B- Sean Davis Oct 2013
Enjoyed this course. Great use of all the oak trees to shape routes. This is an A grade course that gets a B- because of rubber teepads, and no signage. I would also like to see better baskets or c ... show more ›
B Luke Johnson Sep 2013 Great course. Everytime I have been here the grass was well kept up. I just went camping at Champoeg and they had some fairly nice shady spots. The course deserves a better rating but they could also use concrete tee pads and signage.
B+ Matthew Bressler Aug 2014
My home course. It now has 18 cement tee pads. There are multiple tee locations on most holes now with the addition of the tee pads which is nice. Older innova style baskets plus 3 mach x so far. The ... show more ›
B+ Nick Orr May 2013 Sweet park. When I parked my car I said to myself, "You have got to be kidding me". After a round I was ready for another. the park plays surprisingly well considering how flat it is. The baskets are placed just right, and you will spend more time playing then looking for your disc.
B Ian Clark-Williams Feb 2013 Love this course, love the environment, just wish there some signs..
B Daneger Jones Nov 2012
fun course, quick play through and easy to not lose track of discs. rubber pads get soopah slick when wet and if you get caught out there at dusk you run risk of getting locked in for the night. Kille ... show more ›
B Jason "Rooster" Bruster Aug 2014 My review is moving up to a B from a c- since new concrete pads are in now... New baskets and signage and my review will move up again
B Rick Saffeels Oct 2012 First time playing. Short layout was fine. Baskets not my favorite as my discs fell out on several putts.
A Brad Hummel Aug 2012 This is a great course to learn on and is a lot of fun. Lots of opportunities for birdies and open fairways make it hard to lose discs. One of the best courses in the area
A+ Dylan Adams Aug 2012 Love this course!
B+ Chris "The Lip" Lippert Aug 2012 No need to worry about lost discs out here. Pretty open all around. Some signs at the tee pads would be nice.
B+ Nick Nisbet Mar 2014
This is my home course. It's forgiving if you're new to the sport. I have heard from a few veterans that they get bored here. I've been playing for only three months, so I like this course. They have ... show more ›
D Grant larson Apr 2012 great if you like playing in a swamp
C+ Jared Kastleman Feb 2012
Arguably the first DG course in Oregon. Champoeg plays mostly flat with trees. This lack of elevation change which can result in swampy terrain, as well as the fact this course is not a full 18 justif ... show more ›
A Dewey "DUI" D. Nov 2011 What puppy doesnt like tree's? Tree's with lotsa squirrels all over the place.
B Kyle E Rakoz Sep 2012 If it was a little more disc golf friendly it would get a higher score (lots of anti-disc golfers there) and they could do a lot more to improve the layout. As is it is only an Ok course.
A Josh Marcella Oct 2011 Great course! It's a nice place to spend your day.
B+ Vince Epker Oct 2011 Fun but flat...nice mix of shots
A+ Mat Owens Oct 2011 first time at this course. it is amazing!
A- Kevin Rivera Oct 2011 Slick pads
B Mike Gilbert Sep 2011 fun course but very busy with people just walking around not playing.
A- Rick C Jul 2011 a lot of variety for a 15 hole par 3 course. lots of places to lose your disc for beginners.
B+ Jeff Nichols Jul 2011
FUN Course. Some cool pin placements. NO elevation changes, but the layout almost makes up for it. If there was some elevation in the mix, this would have been an A course for me for sure. Still, was ... show more ›
B WAYNE "big daddy" WALKER Jun 2011 Some of the baskets only have single chains on them.
B- Robert Littrell Jun 2011 Great course. Lots of fun. No worry about losing discs. Multiple holes that will test your accuracy. A few that let you grip and rip. No elevation changes and only 15 baskets are what is keeping it from a B+ or an A-. Once it dries out it will be great for bbq and a couple of rounds.
B Sara R May 2011 concrete tees please! and better drainage...
B Scott Hill May 2011
A fun course - a perfect place for beginning to intermediate players. Advanced and pro players will have fun playing with just a putter or midrange. Beautiful park setting in an oak grove. With ... show more ›

C The Ronin Jan 2011 WET! Way soggy, lakes everywhere, muddy baskets, uneven tees, tees are worn away rubber. Layout is nice, needs some tlc. FIX THE TEES!!!!!!!
C+ Shane the Chain Johnson Oct 2010 what can i say about poey! lol i just did nice course just a bit on the boring side. and i hate rubber pads in the winter
B Josiah C.O.T.F.C. Oct 2010 solid course. flat but fun. 3 more holes and real tee pads well get it an A
B shaggy f Oct 2010 it was a fun course good flow its not a hard course just easy to mess up i think the tree r made of rubber if u hit one ur getting stopped or bouncing a mile still fun course
B+ Thomas "T" D. Jul 2014
I love the mix of open and thru the tree's shots. Tee's need to be concrete and baskets are pretty beat up. Super fun when its dry. A swamp when its wet. Needs restrooms closer to the disc course, long ... show more ›
B+ TOE "Tee Off Even Under Pressure" UP Oct 2010 i have never played there when it wet but i bet it sucks there when it is
B+ Brad Phillips Sep 2010 Flat course with lots of trees. Many long drives and a few short. Not very many places to lose discs.
A- George Laguna Sep 2010 We stayed in the campground! It was nice to wake up and throw.
Far from a store. Plan it right
B Andy Verhoeven Sep 2010 would be better with 3 more holes. In the winter it could be wet

A Burke Walls Jul 2020 Lady Champoeg is so wonderful.
A Allan Holiday Jul 2019 Really legit course with some holes posing some tough challenges.
A Logan Russell Sep 2016 Front 9 mainly open fields. Back 9 has more trees but still fairly open.
A- Jim Price Aug 2016

B+ Jerry L. Jul 2016 Enjoyed the course. A bit confusing with the multiple tee-pads but I will be back. A nice balance of trees and basket placements that were challenging but not crazy.
A Shaun Kirk Dec 2017 Best tee-pads around
A Carl Boje Jul 2015 The OB and Tees are legit!
A+ Rick Saffeels Jun 2015 Course is perfect. Don't worry about not having signage yet because disc golf is about the layout and length and difficulty. Love the layout right now, challenges every type of throw in the bag :)
A- Brett Baese Jan 2016 the work that has been done on this course has really improved it! It's a little tougher now, but It's very fun!
B+ Zac Teuscher May 2015 Course is looking awesome! Fairways ate nice and short and the rough isn't that rough despite the looks of it.
was an awesome round except for the mis-labeling of the baskets. From the #12 tee pad there are four baskets viable but none say they are for #12
B- Travis Pugh Mar 2015
Huge tee pads!!!! The tee pads are amazing some of the best I've seen. Not bad layout. Only real cons are not much elevation change, but some pins are in stumps which is cool. Also no signs so navigat ... show more ›
A- Mike Wilson Mar 2017 Love the new changes! There are a few things that need to be finished up, (baskets, signage), to recieve an increase in rating. But I know the guys are working as fast as possible!! Great job guys!!
A- Chris Faudree Feb 2015 Fun course, mostly just long straight shots
A+ Matthew Bressler Oct 2015 Love this course! Now has all 18 mach x baskets. Multiple pin locations on most holes. Marked out of bounds on most holes. 2 practice baskets!?! Best course in the area hands one. Now also has multiple marked mandos and 11 amateur tee pads. THE PREMIER COURSE IN THE WILLAMETTE VALLEY.
C+ Christopher Fanger Jan 2015 Work in progress, tough in the winter.
