Theres a league that is rrun here every Tuesday. I’ve played in this league a few times and the TD Terry isn’t transparent at all with rules, handicaps, how much money is available in ace pots, or where all the daily entry money goes. I got put on a card with a couple regular leaguers and they told me that there is a CTP every league day and the winner gets a disc but it’s always a used disc even though Terry takes in about $20 for CTP entry every day. If the person who wins CTP doesn’t want the disc, Terry will give you $5! Five dollars!!! Apparently it’s a handicap league but if you ask the TD how he does the handicaps or what people’s specific handicaps are, he won’t tell you. Somehow him and his son win every year..? He changes rules at his will to make sure that he always comes out on top. My coworker who plays every week said that he has always done playoffs at the end of the season and that depending on regular season placement you’ll start the playoffs with a number of points. Him and his friends were top 3 this year and randomly without talking it over with the league he decided not to do playoffs and paid out himself and friends. It’s a really shady league, I would drive 20 min to come play with a coworker of mine but after he told me all of this, I won’t come back. Be warned.

It's that time of year again. I will be making a league page soon. 2019 Wortman Tuesday Handicap League. The League will run from April 23rd to August 27th. April 2nd(triples), April 9th(doubles), and April 16th(singles) will be the preseason. July 2nd will be a fun day. Limited bonus points. September 3rd will be the ace race. September 10th will be the party and game day. September 17th, 24th, October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, and November 5th(glow round) will be fun days.

Work party. I have arranged for a couple piles of bark mulch to be delivered to the park by Friday. I will be out Sunday morning for those looking to help. We can have more after we clear the first two piles. I will also be out Tuesday and Next Saturday mornings as well. If you have wheel barrel and shovel, pitch fork, rake, even better. Public Relation's Officer for MVDSA. The Wortman course is getting bigger and better T-Pads when enough donations for concrete come in, and give thanks to the Scouts we now have T-Sign's! I seen a comment that the map isn't needed, well maybe for some, but a lot of people still take pictures of it to follow the course. As we are in good standing with the McMinnville Parks Department, all of these changes are Pre-approved thanks to the cooperation of the Parks Dept.Director Susan Muir. Tree limbs that hang too low are trimmed now. Well all for now, I will be posting more often than before, Mark Herwig "Bucket-Man".

Would like to thank our new park director Susan for a great meeting with our reps Mark Herwig and Nick Almond. She has ok'd some upgrades to the course. The new sign poles will be cut shorter and the new signs will come soon. We also have permission to put in new larger tee pads. We may get a bridge for hole 12. Of course things cost money. Donations will be greatly accepted. Helpers when it comes time. We can also run night events again with a $50.00 park rental. There has been one already. Another set for the 22nd I believe(check facebook) and I plan to run one in October 27th. Again thank you Susan for your support of disc golf.
