B- Dan James May 2022
Good length and plenty of trees that make you shape your shots make this a good course to hit for a practice round. No thick woods, rough, or water hazards to deal with so throws off your line won't l ... show more ›
A- Kary Marz Apr 2020 New chainstars are beautiful. Couple of different basket lay outs from the original. Great city course.
B+ Garett Patria Jul 2019 Nice woods feel in the middle of the suburbs. Good tree shade when it's hot. Tees and baskets labeled fairly well. Fair parking.
B+ Jake Waxer Sep 2018 Pretty fun track. Good mix of short and longer shots. Great tee placements with the huge trees at the park. Tee pads are short. Zero elevation change. Old baskets/raskets.
B Chad Fraquelli Sep 2019
Finally new Chainstar Pro baskets installed Sept 2019! Great "park" course. Plenty of 330+ foot holes to challenge your arm speed and accuracy. Lots of trees to navigate, no rough at all. Good var ... show more ›
C+ Tim Sylvain Feb 2016 Better than I expected, baskets (chains) need to be replaced.
B sherri look Nov 2015 Well layed for the space. Second tees give you a very different look for each baskets. Fairly clean.
C richard bell Apr 2015 Not a bad course at all. A flat course thru a wooded park. Park has Shakespeare in the park once in awhile along with a kids train every 4th Sunday I believe. There's a sign that says what day if interested. Come here if feel like playing a quick 36 along with Wagner Park which is 1 mile south.
B+ Brendan Livingston Jan 2024
This place is better than your average golf course. The trees are really in play throughout the entire course and the two tee boxes per hole make this place very cool. Each tee box gives the hole a ... show more ›
B Rod Dean Oct 2014 simple but does have plenty of trees to keep it interesting
B Skyler Stoker Jun 2014
I am grading this based on the given land. For what it is this is a well designed and fun course. I had never played a course that had only 9 baskets but 18 pads and was not sure what to expect. I was ... show more ›
C+ Rob Hensley May 2014 Course was pretty swampy after the rain.
C- Steve Albert Sep 2013 I don't care for 18 hole 9 basket course but this was okay. There was nothing really great about this course. Its just crappy baskets and tee pads thrown onto a flat terrain grubby city park. Try and steer clear of the train tracks running through the course it will take chunks of your discs.
D- Mike Jones Jun 2013 Well, there are at least baskets with chains on them. Other than that, idk how you could call this a disc golf "park". Good luck finding a parking spot!
B- Kevin Reddy May 2013 Good use of the space available for a decent disc golf course. Playing all holes while the course is busy might be a challenge with the shared baskets, but we had the course to ourselves this day.
B William "Bullet Bill" Pope Dec 2012 Achtung LEAVES!!!
B- Jeff Blohm Oct 2012 I like the "new" longer tee boxes
B- Robert Wagner Aug 2012 Nice course. Friendly locals willing to help one navigate. Trees create majority of obstaclrs requiring specific flight paths (technical). Would play it again if in the atea.
B+ Rob Staszek Aug 2012
I really enjoyed this course. I consider it my home course since I live just down the road from it. It's very well laid out and keeps you pretty well hidden from other park patrons. Lots of trees t ... show more ›
C+ Vic Damone Aug 2012 Plenty of Trees!
B Jeff Bauman Jun 2012 Starr is looking awesome.
B Nick Phlegar Jun 19 Not bad at all for a city park but i could see it getting hectic when its busy
A Jason Riberas May 2012 played on the new tee pads!!!!, which are way better compared to the old ones but the only thing is they are a little narrow, but it's a much better improvement to the old tee pads!!!!
D- Sean Phaneuf May 2012 Trees down, flooded, no drive pads. Messy.
A- Jason Sweeney Apr 2012 Like the new layout. Def gonna lower scores.
B Brian Kunnert Jun 2012 Concrete pads added, bumps up course score
C Greg Mitchell Sep 2011 Not bad for a local course. Not very taxing. You can make it through the round only using back hand shots. No elevation changes but what can you expect from a city park. Definitely a good course to get in a warm up round on.
B+ Nick O Jul 2011 kind of a crowded park, but i'll definitely hit the place every time i'm in royal oak. less than a mile away from Wagner, I'd consider this a better-Wagner with a much better surrounding area.
B Brendan N Apr 2011 Nice course to start the year. Basic, flat....lots of trees to work on moving the disc around. Very wet, should dry up by late May
C+ michael kress Jan 2011 not a bad park to play...tee-pads are warped worn and many are hole ridden.many baskets are bent and loose..could use some tlc
B James pokornicki Jan 2011 hard to throw from cracked rubber pads. good course other than that
C- eric doolittle Oct 2010 not a fan of this course, wagner park is just down the road, much better exec style course
B David Tomlinson Sep 2015 I love the new tee pads. I just wish it had better baskets, and trash cans.
B+ A Bee Sep 2010 About as good as it gets for a city course...
