B+ Tom Wagner Jun 2022 Wooded neighborhood park course with mild elevation and a good design. Fun lines, concrete pads, decent signage, clean and well maintained. The fall leaves on the ground off the fairways can still be an issue for buried discs well into the summertime.
B+ Jamie Vincent Apr 2021 Really fun course with a great mix of shots.
A- Trey Bower Oct 2016 Really fun course very shaded and quiet in the woods. Only bad part is it's difficult to find where your next tee off is. But overall would recommend.
A Patrick Bridge Jul 2016 Very good mix of wooded and open shots.
A- Stephen Lester Apr 2016 Partial bias due to my first ace but this is a great course in a small area. Good mix of longer hole and short ones.
A Jeremy "Grimm" Neff Apr 2016 Nice course good layout clean playing areas. I like the technical aspect of the course with a few open holes.
B+ Ron Watson Nov 2015 Nice tight wooded course in a small residential park.
A- Amanda Compo Sep 2015 First time playing at JC today! Loved the course. :)
B Matt Stoll May 2015 Course is tight but has nice up and down through the woods. It is short and quite easy. Good for a beginner like me.
B Andrew Barry Apr 2015 Needs a good leaf job. Fun course though.
B- Rick Gzesh Apr 2015
Overall a fun course that would have rated higher if maintenance was better. I played this course in April, you wouldn't think that leaves on the ground would be an issue, but it looked like fall. O ... show more ›
B Forrest Omland Apr 2015 Nice little short course. Back nine was somewhat confusing to navigate my first time playing, but tree fairies were nice to me. Cool basket placements. Lots of ace potential here. Liked the course even more after playing a tournament here.
C Eric Engblade Aug 2014 Small easy course that can build up your confidence...easy to find discs. Lots of kids running around in park during summer.
B+ Colin Butgereit Jul 2014
JC is a very well laid out course for its size and for the amount of paved trails there are around the course. For a person who has never been to JC it might be difficult for them to find the each hol ... show more ›
B+ Brandon Braisted Jun 2014 Lots of leaves on the ground still, but overall a solid course.
C+ Brandon Schmuker Oct 2018 As stated by many others, this course is great for the space provided. Moderately wooded fairways can turn a good round bad pretty quickly. Slight elevation changes also come into play.
B Brian Bonebrake II Apr 2014 It's a decent course built around playgrounds, basketball courts, and baseball fields. The teepads are mostly good concrete slabs. There is a good amount of technicality in the course due to trees and other obstacles.
A- Disc Devil Lee Apr 2014 Great layout!! Nicely place in a wooded area.
C Nick S Nov 2013 Very average course, some decent distance holes. Lots of trees, but the fairways are fairly open. great beginner course, average experienced course.
B+ Justin Dore Oct 2013 I left my white pearly proline spider on hole 17 on October 12 and I am willing to give a LARGE reward for its return. It has ace ink on the inside rim. I do like this course a lot though for its variety of holes while in the small setting of a park.
B Fred Vocino Sep 2013
This is a model of the neighborhood park giving to the community a full-value public space. Disc golf conforms with walking paths, wading streams, slides and swings, all the while giving DG players a ... show more ›
B+ Cody Taplin Aug 2013 need longer tee pads, and maybe instructions to the layout. The leaves eat discs, but a fun tactical course. Always shady, always hitting trees
C+ Landon Satterfield Aug 2013 Course is one of best utilized pieces of land i have seen. Nothing stood out in the positives but overall good fun factor.
B+ John Gomez Jul 2013 2nd time ever playing this course...liked it.
C- Marc LaFleur Jun 2013
This course is ok I guess . They made good use of a small park . Most short holes , some longer . Could have placed the baskets a little better to take the hills and water into play more , it's all ab ... show more ›

A- Chad Reuss Jun 2013
Great course. It has a mix of every type of hole, short, long, technical, right turn, left turn. Several holes offer chances for ACES 1,10,14, 16,17. I have played Flip City and Hickory a bunch. Tho ... show more ›

B Bryan Mahar Apr 2013
I love this course but you can definitely throw a "good" shot and still be punished by the trees. There is some elevation change but nothing major. There are a lot of birdies on the course if you can ... show more ›
B- Cory Whitten Nov 2012 Lots of leaves.
B Brian Basinski Sep 2012 Fun, easy technical course. Gets a higher rating because this is where I grew up and learned to play
B cody landers Sep 2012 this is a nice course to play on hot days, with the whole course covered in trees, a nice even amount of short and long holes, rang chains on hole 7 with a nice skip, also hit the basket on hole 14. all around good course to play.
B+ Alex Stanton Jun 2013
If you are going for your first time, you might find that it is pretty challenging to find the next hole. I played here after playing through 3 other courses, so I was worn out to say the least. With ... show more ›
B+ Benjamin Zomberg Jul 2012 This is a great technical course and fun to play even on a hot humid day. Course is within some woods. Not dense but enough trees to get your technical game going.
B Jacob Zomberg Aug 2016 Fun course for the intermediate to advanced player. Offers some long holes and short holes with plenty of obstacle. Careful in the fall, when ALL the leaves are on the ground it may be easy to lose your disc - even on a decent throw. Overall a must-play for anyone who loves the game.
C- john carter May 2012 Dnt know the date I played this course
A Rob "CaptnHowdy" Salik Jun 2013 Clean and not busy

A- Corey Alberda May 2012 Good distribution of short and long drives. Several technical shots keep the game interesting. Only downfall to this course is the over abundance of leaves. Keep an eye on your disc or you'll never see it again
C+ nicholas avery Apr 2012 Leaves need to be removed.
B+ Jeff Kuehle Feb 2012 excellent layout for the space provided. the course can be made tougher by playing paved paths as OB.Great course for the beginner as well as the seasoned professional.
B Matt Bronkema Nov 2011 Lots O Trees
A- Steven D. Fenrich Oct 2011 Although it is on the other side of town from where I live, I consider this a "home course" of sorts. There is excellent turn variation, wooded throughout, and typically very quiet.
B- Ducks Lawn Care & Landscape / Course Design Sep 2011 The course over the years has become a mess, fallen trees, trash in the fairways. but overall the course can still test you. This day I finally got hole 10 ace and almost 11. If 11 would be a normal basket prolly back to back ace.
A- Jason Larson Sep 2011 Great course. Closest course to my house. can play a quick 18 in less than an hour if not too busy.
A robby ives Aug 2011 good for accuracy and putting.
A- Brandon Ter Meer Aug 2011 COurse that will improve your accuracy. i also have my first two aces here #1 and #17. :)
B Jeremy Diller Aug 2011 Acually can be a pretty tough course only bad part is they need to have some trees removed and the tee pads are to short.
C+ Zachary Vaughn Nov 2011 A great city park with clean lines and a fun challenge. C+ only due to the lack of versatility. A pleasure to play when not in fall (leaves) and is a great practice course.
A Bryan Remmelts Jul 2011 Really nice course i like the shade but don't care for the trees but there fairly easy to avoid
B+ Brian Pirkola Jul 2011 Not the most challenging course but a fun park to play except when throwing 18 when kids are playing on the playground.
B+ Josh Allen Jun 2011 Jc is a great course for being in the middle of the city. A little bit of elavation. Lots of short holes for some good birdie opts.
B- Brad Fuller May 2011 Heavily wooded. Very short course. Many trees and people all over the place.
Good for starters.
B John Cowell Apr 2011 great course for technical drives and variable putt/approach shots
B+ Mike Durco Mar 2011 I designed this course along w/ help from some other disc golfers. It was a huge challenge to design good holes in the limited space. Holes #10 & #17 have alternate basket placements.. that for some reason the parks people don't allow us to use. I'm glad so many people enjoy playing the course!
A- Matt Elgersma - iDisc for VEDS Jan 2011 one of my favorite courses in Grand Rapids, must have a wide range of shots to make par or under, great layout, challenging, and good pads
C+ Steve Hedstrom Sep 2011
JC is all in the woods with a few shots that have elevation. Plenty of birdie opportunities and defiantly some holes that bogeys can happen too. Good course to practice throwing in the woods on. I ... show more ›
C+ Hits Trees Oct 2010 I cant believe they fit 18 holes into this park. All together I had a good time playing here.
