Low ceiling, tight fairways, elevation, and a few extra holes at the end for some open air throws. Cedar trees make for a nice challenge with the low ceiling and not much opportunity to throw high because the thick branches will catch your discs in the trees. Ash trees have been removed because of an infestation of ash borers that were killing them but new trees have been planted, and will create new lines and leaves it a little kore open in the mean time. This is a great course for all players and all ages.

First part of the course consists of short technical holes, in a beautifully groomed park. "Birdie Alley" starts at #14. #18-21 are the 'long' holes. Nearly every hole has an alternate basket location (#3 and #4 being the exceptions.) Basket relocation occurs periodically throughout the year. <updated Mar 2024> Loss of many Ash trees and construction of a bike path through a couple of the holes on the course, caused a redesign. This is now only an 18 hole, however most holes now have 2 baskets installed, so basket movement is no longer a thing.

Getting to the course: Park by the pool at the course finishes right by there. Then it's just a short walk to the first tee, which is near the entrance to the park from Rt. 33

Layout: Course does a nice job of using all of the space around the park, only coming close to one other object. Some holes run next to each other, but don't interfere with others playing different holes (i.e. enough space).

Player Ability: Novice. This course is good for someone still learning to play as it offers some challenges with a couple of trees, but a bit of challenge with some distance for veteran players.

Overall: I LOVED this course as it was a step up in difficulty after playing the Bridgewater Course earlier that day. This course definitely has some elevation to it, so bring some good walking shoes. Each tee is made of cement, offering a nice place to throw from. The maps are quite helpful and fairly accurate, though they have done away with the longer baskets. This is a great course to play!

There are no "Big", long shots, but the entire course requires good skill to stay within the fairways. Almost every hole has a low ceiling, with trees scattered through out the hole making controlled shots essential. The locals are real friendly and welcoming. Not a destination course, but well worth the time if you are in the area.
