No course sign. No tee signs, Tee numbers and distance on some posts. Tee boxes were just dirt or mangled carpet. Course navigation was easy until 12-16. There it was hard to navigate. Trees had white ribbon on them with arrows showing next hole. Holes 12-16 were tough due to the dense area they were in. Also suggest flags or something to allow the baskets to stand out. Almost all tees I had to walk ahead to find the basket and then walk back.
Shots were pretty technical but no long bombers on the course. Good variety of hyzers and anhyzers.
Very family unfriendly course once you get to the back 8. The navigation through the woods varied from log crossings, steep steps, up/down washouts, creek crossings. Smaller children and strollers wouldn't be recommended to bring in this area. Some log crossings were about 6' up and with a wrong footing you or someone else could fall and seriously be injured below. Due to the location of these holes, you might not be seen or heard for quite some time.
Another thing I noticed... On dgcoursereview, it states that there are water hazards and what not on quite a few holes. In my mind, a small trickling trench/creek shouldn't justify it being a hazard. There were no major water areas on the course. (Just my point of view)
On the other hand, Pratt Park does have soccer fields, open fields, baseball fields, and a paved route surrounding the park. Very well maintained in the recreation area.
