Average at best. Lots of short holes, crappy rusted baskets, kids running around trying to steal discs. Basically no signage (just shows hole number and distance), and it is not very challenging either. I am not an especially good golfer and I shot -4 the first (and probably last) time I played here. Only things I liked were the concrete tee pads and a few difficult, narrow lane shots that you have to make. Are there any others courses in the area around Bloomington that are decent? I am moving there this summer and really want a good course to go to.

This is the course I learned how to play disc golf on. For most beginners i'd say u want to play on a course that is a little more open on the back as well as the front. But I will not complain because I have continued to grow in my overall game and I believe it's because I started at Cresmont in Bloomington, Indiana. As far as a critique of the course I would say it has a good mix of medium to short holes, It doesn't offer much in the way of playing in the woods though the back nine does provide some technical shots in which u need to throw around trees or find a not so large opening to get in birdie position. The front has some change of elevation and a couple holes that are 300ft or more. I rate this course a B because it has holes where skill is very much involved. Big arms will easily be able to reach most if not all the holes at Crestmont, which if I had to be critical of the course would be my primary complaint, no bomber holes. Alas Crestmont will always have a special place in my heart and it's a course I think any avid player can appreciate.

Just picked the game back up and Crestmont was a great course to begin with. Challenging enough to hone your skills as you get better. Other players were very friendly and helped with hole placements (confusing at first but once you get the hang of it you're set) and even gave many pointers for certain holes. This is THE course to play if you're in Bloomington.

By far the best course in Bloomington. It is much more challenging than the other two, and has a pretty nice mix of heavily wooded shots and wide open shots. None of the holes are super long so the are all reachable with a good drive except 18 (for me at least) and some of the drives are tricky to get there. It gets pretty windy some days. Overall a pretty good course.

Located on "The Hill" adjacent to low income housing.....was known as the "dangerous" side of Bloomington when I was a youngster. This course has good use of elevation change, tree-lined fairways make for nice tunnel lines. All pins are reachable for an average arm. New cement pads (long tees) are a great improvement over the old gravel pads. The course flow is awkward at times, improved signage would aid navigation, a lot of back tracking on the later nine. Holes 3 thru 5 are too easy and some altered pin positions would make it more challenging. Favorite holes: 1,2 15, and 16. Hole Sixteen's pin placement reminds me of Flip city where rollouts could be vicious. A fun course to run some baskets. Most baskets are three-ringed rust buckets. This area deserves a champ caliber course, sadly this is not it....
