Western Arkansas Flying Disc Association (WAFDA)
Est. 2003 • Leave the course better than you found it.
WAFDA is one of the oldest disc golf clubs in Arkansas. Its original home course; Tilles Park in Fort Smith, AR was the second oldest course in Arkansas, but is now the oldest original because Burns Park (Red) in North Little Rock, AR. was destroyed by a tornado. WAFDA has been involved with the design and installation of every course in the Western Arkansas area. WAFDA has and is the host club of four (4) sanctioned PDGA B-tier tournaments; Clash at the Dam, Van Buren, AR., Battle at Bell Park Greenwood, AR., HELL ON THE BORDER Fort Smith, AR., and Alma Greens Alma, AR. Hell on the Border is the club's oldest tournament which will celebrate its 29th year this July of 2024. WAFDA runs many other non-sanctioned tournaments throughout the year. We also run weekly minis; Tuesday at 6:00 pm, Saturday at 10:00 am, Sunday at 2:00 pm, and during the winter months, we have our Tuesday night putting league at 6:00 pm in place of our Tuesday mini. Check out our Facebook page to see what is happening in the Western Arkansas disc golf area.
