On Saturday, April 4th, we will be having a fundraiser event at Play It Again Sports in Lyndhurst. Please download the flyer at (https://www.facebook.com/painesvillediscgolf) to your smartphone and bring it with you when you purchase anything in the store that day you get a 10% discount and 10% goes to support the building of the new course in Painesville Recreation Park! Play It Again Sports does carry disc golf discs from several manufacturer's so it would be a good time to stock up for the upcoming disc golf season!

Just a reminder that the annual Painesville tourny is this Sunday nov 2nd! We will meet at the back pavillion at 9:30 at Painesville recreation park! 33 mill street Painesville! It will be a 10 dollar entry and we will throw 2 rounds of 9, with ctps and side games. There will be a couple of gift certificates to Marshall street. 25 dollars for first! and disc and a few gas cards donated by the Ninja for ctps. I hope everyone will show up as we have finally gathered some interest for the rec board ... more

Hello. My name is Greg Miller. I have just started playing disc golf this past summer and immediately got hooked! Since playing most of the courses in the area, I have realized there is quite a distance between the local courses. After talking with a few guys about what it takes to get a course installed, I have been in touch with the Painesville Recreation Department as well as Mickey Anderson, who for the last few years, have been trying to accomplish the same thing. Next month we have a meeting scheduled to finalize the details of putting a disc golf course in Painesville Recreation Park! We have a lot of work ahead of us, but all signs are pointing in the right direction. This winter we will continue to do some fundraising which will involve acquiring donations from local business' and putting on a few fundraising events, the first of which will be a disc golf tournament held at Painesville Recreation Park with temporary baskets on Sunday, November 2nd. I am posting this to raise awareness in the disc golf community and to ask for your support. If you have any questions, or would like to get involved in helping us with this effort, please send me or Mickey a private message. I look forward to making this a reality in bringing disc golf to Painesville!
