Bug Spray

If u are planning a lovely round of disc at Reed Park, aka The Vines, bring the mosquito spray. These bad boys are everywhere and the size of golf balls.

Disc Golf In Michigan Special Olympics

I would like to thank Caine Wiechmann and Craig Clingan for coming out to the MIchigan Special Olympics State Summer Games on Friday May 30th! They battled the brutal heat and relentless sunshine for hours to help me introduce disc golf to Special Olympics MI (SOMI). By generating interest through the athletes and coaches I would love to see SOMI add this awesome sport to their offerings. We showed lots of people how to putt and we even threw some discs over one of the ponds to demonstrate longer flight. I'd also like to thank Josh Taylor for lending us a Chainstar basket! This would not have been the success it was without everyone's help! I already received an invitation back for next year, and accepted the offer immediately!
