This Sunday, August 22nd, Holly Woods is hosting the Michigan Junior State Championships & I am asking for your help!

First, if you are out playing during the week and you see dead fall that you can move, please move it as far to the sides of the fairways as possible. We had worked on the course and then that storm rolled through last week.

Second, PLEASE play at at different course if you were looking to play on Sunday. We have a full field of 72 Junior player, aged 6-18, that are coming out to complete for a State Championship and it would be appreciated if they could have the course to themselves.

Hey Guys - I see the MAO listed, but I'm wondering if you set the dates for FTF Open? I heard it may be the weekend of 8/14, and almost signed up for another tourney that weekend, I would rather play yours, but don't want a date conflict.

Attn disc golfers. After months of hard work Taymouth Twp. Park in Burt (west birch run) has got a huge makeover and is now ready to play. This course now boasts 18 holes with longs and shorts. Teepads are spiked down, extra large, 4 X 10 wall carpet. This stuff is awesome! Freshly painted chainstar baskets. A great mix of holes with 6 out in the park and 12 in the woods. A pole hole. A triple mando. And a superb island hole surrounded along in front and both sides by creeks.Course info is updated on disc golf scene and the process has begun on udisc and should be complete in a week or so. But you won't get lost. There is excellent signage and the bottom rung of the baskets has been painted pointing the way to go. This is no longer the crap course it used to be. Course amenities and odds and ends work are ongoing.

Cap City Open is coming up soon on June 16th. there are still plenty of spots open. there will be a great players pack for the ams along with lunch provided for free to all players. This will be the same layout as this years CCR Open so this is your chance to come out and get some practice in. If anyone is looking to win a berth to the Discraft Michigan State Championships, next Sunday, August 9th at Memorial Park in Frankenmuth, Black Ace Disc Golf will be hosting Dragon's Horde. We will be awarding 6 berths as a part of our PDGA Pro C/Am B Singles event. First 50 players have their choice of a colored glow champion Roc3 or Destroyer or a stock disc. Players 51+ will receive a stock disc. Registration is here on DGS.

Just reminding everybody this sunday flip doubles at Holly Woods tee off at 1030. $10 a person with a $2 ace pot $2 50/50 and $1 for ctps it. $5 goes to payouts the other $5 goes to Mike Suida to help him and Rebecca with there new baby girl on the way.
