The meeting sounds good, but unfortunately I will be out of town the next few days and unable to attend.

I went ahead and drafted a logo for your DFOK shirts: (http://www.discgolfscene.com/profile/16843/pictures/album_8287/146821#146821).

I was leaning towards design #1 so I tweaked the use of the sans serif font a bit by using Orator Std (26 pt) for the "Disc Fanatics of Kansas". I kind of like the basket design of design #2 though (if you can thicken the lines to meet GTM's requirements). Just my two cents.

BTW: this was directed to Rick. You crept up in there Daisuke.

Hope things are going well back home!

Yep, as you and I make changes I have updated the picture on on my profile that shows your edits beside my edits. The comments that you are looking for are probably on a picture that is gone now.

Since it is "go time" for the 1st round of DFOK shirts, here are the 2 options:

Please pick 1 or 2. No more edits.

Anybody out there got shirt logo ideas or at least preferences on what's been suggested thus far?

Don't be shy!

I am confused. What happened to the latest comments that Bill, Adam & Josh have made over the last couple days?

I wanted to re-read those, but I can't find them. Help.

Anybody else out there got some ideas?

I am starting to see the logic in not using the funky D, F & K for the full text below. However I'm not sold on the font style of the "Disc Fanatics of Kansas" on option #3.

Here is an idea --> http://www.discgolfscene.com/profile/1365/pictures/album_8279/146724#146724

Thanks for all the good input on the logo for the DFOK shirts! I think we are getting this dialed in.
1, 2, or 3? http://www.discgolfscene.com/profile/10252/pictures/album_7907/146715#146715

If you have an idea for a better logo, please throw it out there, soon. Information will be coming out soon on how you can get a performance polo shirt with a DFOK logo.

The logo looks good.

I really like that logo becaue it is simple and definetly shows that the shirts reprsents disc golf.

Great advice, Zane! Maki and I are fortunate to have a wide open field right next to our backyard. Immediately after we moved here, we bought a DGA portable basket. Whenever I have time, I take it out, do some putting practice and approaches, and do an ACE race (the number of participant = 1 or 2).

Rick and I have been moving forward with options for DFOK shirts. Here is an idea that I like for a logo:

I second this advice. The only thing I would add is to only practice putt for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. Any more than that and it is difficult to stay focus and you don't want to practice unfocused putting. Easy way to develop lazy habits. Also like Zane pointed out, just make putts. Doesn't matter how far out, just make putts. While my putting is far from perfect I have taken huge strides simply by being more consistent from 25 feet and in.

**Disclaimer** This is not intended to be "preachy" or anything of that nature. I just care so deeply for all of my fellow DFOKers and enjoy seeing all of you improve as players.

Living in the land of super technical "unfairways" has taught me that being able to crush distance drivers isn't worth crap 90% of the time.
I have been doing a great putting drill that I thought I'd share with you all. I've been doing it for a couple weeks and my putting confiden ... more

Yes, after many request & discussions, a bunch of DFOKers are going in on buying shirts for ourselves.

STYLE: We are looking at short sleeved polo style shirts (that have a collar) with three buttons on the front. They are also of the style that has accent colored stripes/panels, which are common in today's golf shirts. In other words, they should look cool, feel cool & most importantly be comfortable enough to wear while playing disc golf.

COLOR: We want to keep the color opt ... more

They are polos. I'm sure Rick will chime in and post a link to the actual shirt options.

I am still interested and will cast my vote for the "classic" look. Are these going to be on a polo or on a shirt like the one in the pic? I would really prefer not to have one of those zipper-style collars like in the pic, they get really itchy when its hot and the zippers are usually really crappy in my experience.
