Club Kensington Resurrection states for their league and their league only:
50% of the Ace pool is awarded to a player or players who throw a 1 on a hole during League play. If two players hit the same round, then they divide the 50% payout of ace pool in half. All of the above would recieve an automatic 25pts to the MCPS and AACPS series and Leagues.
If a Cali player scores a 1 for a hole on his first throw, he gets a 1, 50% of ace pool and an automatic 25pts to the MCPS and AACPS series and Leagues.
If a Cali player scores a 1 for a hole on his second throw, he gets a 1, no ace pool and an automatic 25pts to the MCPS and AACPS series and Leagues.

We are excited for the Summer session to begin on April 4th.
8 MDGO State Berths will be handed out this session.
You must be a paid club member to be ellegable for a State berth.
Membership is $15. You will recieve a new Disc with you membership.
The first 5 in points after 20 weeks (2 weeks prior to the State Finals) will recieve a Berth and Berth
package. 2 Berths will be handed out on a random round to be announced later.
We are starting a CTP Challenge for a State Berth also. This will be a PRE ROUND CTP (10:45 to 11:45). Whom ever wins the most CTP's over the 20 week span prior to the State Finals will recieve a Berth. Each throw is $1 with a max of 3 throws.
Most State Berths will be passed out prior to when we will pass out our Berths, so this may be one of yor last chances to get one.

Since we had 103 people last week we did not end until 5. 7 or 8 people left during the round so some people played cali or singles the rest of the way through.

New Rule:
AM's- If your partner leaves during the round, you may finish as a cali and collect full payout for yourself if you cash.
PRO's- If your partner leaves during a round, you must finish as a singles round, not cali. You may collect full payout if you cash.

-Dogs are not recomended. If a problem arises, we reserve the right to ban a player from league play.

-A player must be present to accept any payout. If one partner is not present, the absent player forfits their portoin to the club. If both players are not present, then the next finishing place will move up to the missing teams place and so forth for the next finishing places untill payouts are completed. (We will not be heald responsible for holding on to a players money, or giving a players money to some one to pay a player for us).

(this system is in a trial basis through this session)
-1st-30 pts, 2nd-27 pts, 3rd-24 pts (3 point will be subtracted from each finishing place till all points are exhusted).

League Regrestration Cut Off Time:
Final call for regrestration will be at 11:45 am.

Reasons:
Sunday is the DGLO and most paid club members are attending and many league players.

Next weekend is th e AM Nats and many members are playing, cadding or spotting.

I have tried to find someone to run the leagues unsuccusfully. All staff members are comitted the next two weeks elsewhere. I encourage everyone to attend both the DGLO and AM Nats to support two Huge Disc Golf Events in our local area. I am sure some people will show up for leagues not knowing it is cancelled. Please spread the word. Thanks."

We have a Possible sponser coming out Sunday to check out our league! I am asking everyone, if possible, to come out to leagues for a good showing for our possible sponser.

Remember, Points and the Leader Board will start for the new league on April 5th, (3 weeks left).
The 1st half runs for 26 weeks ending September 27 when awards and possible prizes will be given out. The 2nd half will start October 4th.

Ace pool will continue with the same 50% payout until April 5th. New payout is still being decided upon.

Come join the club for $15 and recieve a club stamped Buzz or Surge (while supplies last), reduced entry fee to two planed tournaments, and a discount from one of our possible sponsers. Remember you do not have to be a club member to play, only to recieve awards and possible prizes at the end of the '09 season.

Over the next few weeks you will see major changes to the typical league you have seen over the last year and a half. This will now be a legitimate club. We will work to having more people, bigger payout format, easier and fairer Pro/Am "flip", possible tournaments and a charity event.

Jason Kirkaldy took the league over a year and a half ago and added the name "Resurrection" to the name. I ave been helping Jason for the last year trying to learn how to run the league in his absence. Jason is now going into the Army Reserves and has handed over the league and it assets to me in hopes I can keep it going and growing. When he returns, he still will be a major part of the club.

I will be talking to businesses to try and secure a sponser for the club. If we can lock someone in in the next couple of weeks we will look to add a fee to join the club ($15 is looking like the dollar amount) that will go directly to the club for fees we may occur with the park to hold a tournament or two this year. The fee should be offset by the discount we are looking for from our sponser from the goods they sell.

I would like to hold a tournament proir to the old park closing (Out with the old), and one for the new park opening (In with the new). The park charges $400 for us to hold each tournament. This is why we need to chage a fee for the club. I will continue to look for sponsership from many businesses both local and from out of state. We are also sitting on a large amount of discs and merchandise for sale which proceeds go directly to the club, so please take a look at what we have for sale. Thank you for all who have donated discs to the club to sell. Thank you to all who have donated cash and change the last two weeks. We have made over $50 the first two weeks we put out the donation bucket.

We will hold raffels, CTP's and continue with the Ace pool. My wife will continue to bake us little treats for us. I will pass out raffle tickets to those who donate their time to help keep the tee pads clean of snow and ice, and that help keep the course clean. We will do the drawing at the end of each of the four seasons. Thanks go out to Grant, Jeff, Dave, Andrew and Scott for their time and effort to keep up with the elements the last couple of weeks.

A web site is already in process for the club. If we can sell advertising space on the site, the money will go to the club. We will hold regular meetings, look for opinions, ideas and vote as a group of all active league members. I will maintain an open book policy during our meetings so any active member can see the books on where we stand as a club.

I have set a goal for 50 active members the first year. $15 club fees x 50 members = $750. We would be almost there to hold two events ($800).

I will use this site exclusively for keeping track of league scores, ace pool and league events.
