The Patriot

We wanted to the Great Disc State one more reason to celebrate St Patrick’s Day tomorrow. Registration opens tomorrow for both days of The Patriot, our MDGO Feature Event which takes place on May 15th & 16th. Additionally, our Patriot Warm Up Doubles which is held on May 14th also opens for registration. Registration for all 3 events opens tomorrow at 7pm.

We wanted to the Great Disc State one more reason to celebrate St Patrick’s Day tomorrow. Registration opens tomorrow for both days of The Patriot, our MDGO Feature Event which takes place on May 15th & 16th. Additionally, our Patriot Warm Up Doubles which is held on May 14th also opens for registration. Registration for all 3 events opens tomorrow at 7pm.

We will have 9 berths to the Discraft Michigan Amateur State Championships will be awarded each day. $500 added cash to the professional divisions. 150% overall payouts to amateur divisions.

We will once again be at Hunt’s Hideaway, a private course in Otisville.

This is once again a proud part of the Disc Baron Series. Disc Baron has added a ton of events on the east side of the state, being run by Black Ace Disc Golf, Barrel Aged Disc Golf, & the Motor City Chain Gang.

The Disc Baron will be providing all amateurs with online and potentially on site payouts. We thank them for their continual support and without them we may not have been able to keep running events with discs being hard to come by.

We will have Bruce’s Bad Ass BBQ on site cooking lunch for you.

The 1st 45 players registered over both days will receive a free disc courtesy of Discraft!

Sides that are all available with registration. You can add these on anytime before registration closes.

Ace Pool $5 (Paid out each day)
50/50 $5 (Paid out each day)

Holly Woods Update

Holly Woods Disc Golf Course has over 1/2 of the upper and lower assemblies of the baskets removed. The other half will be removed first thing in the morning. This was done in accordance of the social distancing order which at many times was not be followed so the course was close me but even then people continued to play it. It will be reinstalled at the time the orders have been rescinded.

Spring & Summer League Ends

I cannot make the Singles League tonight and we have had diminished turnouts since the end of the league championship so we will being going on a break for a few weeks. We will transition to a weekend date (probably early Saturday morning) renew the sanctioning, and roll over the ace pool. Thanks to everyone that came out of played all Spring & Summer. See you all soon out on the course!
