Each player will receive two 2012 prototype drivers, mini, sticker, premium water bottle and a pair of UV shades. All for only $25!

The 2012 Ace Race prototype disc is officially classified as a long range driver, but it could be more accurately described as a hybrid driver and is superb for running aces! Faster than a Buzzz but slower than a Stalker, the disc offers players controlled fairway shots. At medium to fast speeds this disc will hold the line to finish with a slight hyzer. Give it a rip!

First round saturday- singles- sign in at 11am tee off at noon.
Lunch to follow- BBQ burgers and more. Please bring a dish if you can!
Second round saturday- random doubles- starts after lunch.
Third round saturday- Glow on the 3 hole course- starts at 9pm

Sunday- Pancake breakfast with Vince on the griddle!
Sunday- BYOP doubles- sign in at 11am tee off at noon.

If you're not going to the Memorial, but you'd still like to have a great time playing some awesome disc golf at one of the best courses around, then come on out and try to card the best score ever on the 27 hole Milo McIver layout.

Format: 1 Round - Best shot - Triples.

Divisions: Professional (), Amateur, Amateur-Mixed (Female pro players are welcome to play Am-mixed for this event)

Cost: $30 per team

Capacity: 54 Teams

Players Meeting: 8:30am

Tee Time: 9:00am

Fund Raising: 1/3 of all entries will go to the BSF and 2/3 goes right back out in payout.

Scrip: This is a Beaver State Fling fundraising event, so we will be offering ALL BSF gear for scrip... including this years awesome custom stamps.

Lets go out with a bang @ Lunchtime with it's first ever PDGA sanctioned event! Saturday February 18th.

Stumptown Disc Golf is pleased to announce the final Slosh event for the season. Stumptown Slosh events are inexpensive, one-day PDGA Sanctioned C-Tier events aimed at giving players of all skill levels a chance to compete during the winter months. Slosh events also give our club an excellent means of showing the ropes to new tournament directors wanting to learn the ins and outs of running PDGA sanctioned tournaments.

Important Notes:

As many of you know, Stumptown Disc Golf decided to use the entire Slosh Series this year as fund-raising events to help replace the old baskets at Lunchtime Disc Golf Course. Five dollars ($5) from every Slosh entry fee this season has gone directly to the Lunchtime basket fund. It is everyone's support of these events that is allowing us to play this final event at Lunchtime Disc Golf course on the new baskets we have purchased.

Also, Because Lunchtime is a smaller course with just 15 holes, rather than limit the size of the field to 60 players, we have decided to play this event in groups of 5. That will allow us to accommodate up to 75 players, and since the course plays pretty quickly anyway, I doubt this will slow things down too much at all.

Also, I have heard through the grapevine that as a way of saying thank you to the disc golf community for our efforts, the church has decided to provide lunch to all players in the event.

Schedule:

Check In: 7:30-8:30am
Players Meeting: 8:30am
Tee Off: 8:45am
Lunch: 12:00-1:00pm

Congratulations to Mike Medlock on his 2nd place finish in PRO! And Xander Waibel who finished 3rd in Pro! Xander shot a 1009 rated 1st round, But "Money Mike" held on with a 999 rated 1st round and a 995 in the 2nd. Both are new to the Pro Division but are clearly going Make a splash in the slosh series!
The next Slosh event is on Saturday, December 17th @ Horning's Hideout(Canyon)

Stumptown Disc Golf has also decided to use the Slosh Series as fund-raising events to help replace the baskets at Lunchtime Disc Golf Course. With five dollars from every Slosh entry fee will going directly to the Lunchtime basket fund started by Dan Brown and DGOD, we feel we should be able to raise enough money for 4-5 more baskets to go along with the 9 baskets already funded by this awesome effort.

We will be holding the final event, TD'd by Dan Brown himself, at the Lunchtime Disc Golf course and if everything proceeds as planned we should be able to announce the impending purchase of 15 new baskets for the course.

We encourage everyone to come out to support these events. If ever there was a great reason to come out and play some winter golf... this is it!

30 holes straight at Lunchtime DGC - 15 from the long tees, and 15 "modified" from the short tees. If you played the Derby, you have SOME idea of what we have in store for you.

We will then have a long break where we will have food, all kinds of games and contests - including a pumpkin carving contest and a costume contest! More details to come as we get closer.

Food included. We like to eat and we like to eat well. Count on it.

Then, as it gets dark, we will play a spooky round of glow golf. Be prepared for anything and everything.

Congratulations to Andrew Nava! the 2011 Next Adventure Intermediate CHAMPION! Andrew shot a personal best -8 in his first round for a 1018 rating. Awesome!
Right behind Andrew was Frankie Baltierrez! Frankie shot PB's all weekend and jumped into 2nd place after the final round, holding off Eric "JOJO" Johanson who took 3rd. All three got Sweet Rick Jones trophies from Disc Golf Creations!
Congratulations to Ward Stroud! Ward played solid all weekend and held on to Third place in Advanced GM's. Ward has either won or placed in his last 4 tournaments!
AND... Congratulations to all the DGOD! players who cashed: Xander Waibel, Danny B Jr, Mat Owens, Luis Nava, Kyle Lorts, and our dear friend Tom "TD" Deen! Tom had a great PB round on saturday and a solid round on sunday(PB?). He held on to 6th place and the final cash in ADV GMs! Way to go buddy!

These two days of Disc Golf at Portland Meadows are a precursor to what could be a permanent (spring/summer) course. As in no more ball golf... The high cost of maintenance has made them consider other permanent uses for area - including disc golf. If we show them that there is a huge disc golf community who is willing to pay a little bit to play at their course, they will consider a permanent venue for our sport there.

So come check it out either day and lets show them how many people play F'n Disc Golf!

Stumptown Disc Golf & Oregon State Parks are planning a work party out at Stub Stewart State Park on Sunday, Oct 9th @ 9am. We plan on working from 9:30am to about 2:00 then playing a round of golf.

The course at Stub Stewart has a ton of potential and the only way we're going to see it reach that potential is by busting our butts to get it cleaned up. So... if you are interested in helping out, we would love to have some help out there.

Stumptown Disc Golf has also decided to use the Slosh Series as fund-raising events to help replace the baskets at Lunchtime Disc Golf Course. With five dollars from every Slosh entry fee will going directly to the Lunchtime basket fund started by Dan Brown and DGOD, we feel we should be able to raise enough money for 4-5 more baskets to go along with the 9 baskets already funded by this awesome effort.

We will be holding the final event, TD'd by Dan Brown himself, at the Lunchtime Disc Golf course and if everything proceeds as planned we should be able to announce the impending purchase of 15 new baskets for the course.

We encourage everyone to come out to support these events. If ever there was a great reason to come out and play some winter golf... this is it!

2011 Leverich After Dark Oct 22

By the Bottle and Firefly Disc Golf are teaming up once again to present Leverich After Dark. This year L.A.D. is a fundraiser for the YWCA of Clark County and they are working hard to gather prizes be a great benefactor. The cost is only $20 with a minimum $5 donation to the YWCA.


Leverich After Dark will actually start with a round of singles in the afternoon. The course will be set up in tournament configuration with hole 12 in the island of the parking lot. After the singles round there will be dinner, a pumpkin carving contest and more fun activities, followed by a glow round of three-headed monster. There will be prizes for the winners of each round and much more.


Leverich After Dark Glow Disc and dinner as a part of their player's pack. This event is sanctioned by the PDGA but ratings will not be calculated for either round in this mixed format event. Open to men/women of all ages. Because this is a fundraiser event there will NOT be a payout, simply great prizes for winners of various events during the night.

Hello, fellow disc golfers! Come join DiscVanGo this weekend! Reserve your seat now!

On Saturday July 23rd we are offering rides to LL Stub Stewart for the Stumptown Summer Bash. Pick ups start in Gresham at Rockwood DGC 6:30am. Then to Lloyd Center in the theater parking lot at 7am. Also Sunday July 24th DiscVanGo will be offering rides to N. Bonneville for random doubles, which is a $5 buy-in. This is a beautiful and fun course! If you have not had a chance to play there yet call DiscVanGo to join the fun. The bus will be leaving Gresham area at 2pm and this trip cost $8 for round trip. Rides will also get to shoot for a ctp prize. DiscVanGo also has alternative Pick-up places just call and ask DC Dan.
